February 5th, 2020--Earth started to change. Portals opened over the world. These portals acted as a bridge between worlds. Earth became a battlefield. At first, the changes were minute. The portals brought minor little critters crossed the portals. Unknown to the inhabitants of Earth, a type of energy was invading Earth from each portal. Some worlds term this energy as ki and others aura--most call this energy mana.
Small phenomenon were happening around the world after the induction of mana. Landscapes transformed and living beings mutated to gain intelligence, strength, agility, vitality, mana, and special powers.
The local governments of earth reacted by closing off these portals due to reports of unlucky individuals disappearing into the unknown never to return. Not a single soul has yet to return after entering these portals.
Before the start of the great catastrophe, there was a voice in every living being's head "10 years have passed. Earth has passed the induction period of mana. Every living being will awaken a talent. Survive and make your mark."
10 years later, Feb 5th, 2030--the carnage started. Monsters overflowed from the portals, they devasted cities, some even devasted entire continents.
