Chapter 110 - WHAT'S TAKING THEM SO LONG

Ishana ; okay then walk....

Abhi; hmmm.... ( I stood there for a moment, feeling unsure. How am I supposed to face everyone now? I thought. But then, an idea popped into my head. Wait... I got it! I could mess with the fuse!

I quickly went to the main fuse box. The house was busy with people, but I had to hurry. When I reached the fuse box, I made sure no one was watching. I carefully pulled out the fuse, cutting off the power to the house. In the darkness that followed, I knew this was my chance.

With the power out, we could sneak to our room without anyone noticing.)

Ishana; door is over there where are you going!!

( what ...he is upto! ... In a while he pull out the main fuse of my house damn... He so smart, now no light in house)

Abhi; now, let's quietly walk into our rooms without getting noticed by anyone.... What are looking at! Smart right!? I know no need to say that ...

Ishana; i wasn't planning to either.....

Abhi; that's so mean !

Ishana; "Oh wow, you just figured that out? I've always been a mean, selfish person—shocking, What!! Did it made you change your mind about marrying me?

Abhi; Huh, as if! Like I'd actually choose this—clearly, I'm just being dragged into the happiest mistake of my life."

Ishana;"Ohhh, so you finally got your brain back—figured out that if it were up to you, you'd never marry me! Great timing, really. Too bad you're already stuck marrying me now!"

Abhi; "I guess you missed the last part of what I said—"happiest mistake of my life" remember?

Ishana;"Huh… clearly you haven't seen enough of me to actually get what I'm saying. But hey, give it time—you'll regret this whole marriage thing soon enough. The way you're glowing now? Just wait. Anyway, let's get back inside before the lights come back.

Abhi;"And I'm patiently waiting for that moment when you finally realize that I'm the one who truly understands you—the one who can handle you like no one else can. You'll see just how much I care about you, and no matter how much you try to deny it, I know you'll fall for me in the end. I promise, sweetheart. Now, let's head back to our rooms."

Ishana;"I've heard people go blind when they're in love. Now I know—it's not just blindness, they actually stop using their brains too."

Abhi; That's so cruel of you miss.

(We quietly slipped into the house, careful not to make a sound as everyone around us was busy talking about the power outage. The chatter filled the air, but we remained unnoticed, making our way to our rooms. Ishana, with her room on the ground floor, headed straight there, while I made my way up to the second floor. After a few minutes, I finally reached my room, gently closed the door behind me, and let out a quiet sigh of relief.)

Ishana; (As I entered my room, I let out a sigh of relief—finally, I didn't have to face any awkwardness. But then again, don't I know it's just a temporary escape? I avoided it this time, but what will I do next time if someone sees me and decides to bring it up? Ugh, just forget about all that for now. I need a shower, get out of this saree, throw on something comfortable, and crawl into bed. I'm so sleepy—I can barely keep my eyes open.

After a warm shower, I changed into my favorite comfy shorts—the ones that are a little too short—and threw on an oversized shirt that hung off one shoulder just right. My hair was down, still slightly damp, brushing against my skin as I slipped under the covers. The bed felt like heaven, and before I could even think twice, I drifted off to sleep with a soft smile on my face.)

Abhi;( I walk into my bedroom and toss my suit onto the bed without a second thought. As I start unbuttoning my shirt, I shrug it off and throw it onto the bed too. I take off my watch, set it aside, and grab a towel before heading straight to the bathroom.

Turning on the shower, I step under the stream of water as it rushes over me, washing away the day. After a few minutes, I finish up, wrap the towel around my waist, and step out, still drying my hair with my hand.

Just as I open the bathroom door, I freeze—my sister-in-law is about to walk in, and my brother's standing right there too. My eyes widen in shock as they both look at me, then quickly close the door behind them on their way out.)

Mark; (As we drive back home, I park the car and walk in with Khushi by my side. Just as we step into the drawing room, loud shouting catches us off guard. We freeze for a moment, looking around.

The room is buzzing with energy—everyone seems unusually excited, voices overlapping, eyes wide with disbelief and curiosity. Then I see it: a photo of Abhi and Ishana being passed around, and that's when it clicks. That's what all the noise is about.

Then I see it—a photo, hanging right on the front wall. It's from yesterday. Abhi and Ishana… kissing in the rain. Bold, romantic, and completely unexpected.

I can't help it—a laugh bursts out of me before I can stop it. Damn, this is wild. I'm already dying to see how Abhi and Ishana are going to react when they walk in and see that little surprise hanging there for the whole family to admire.)

Khushi;(As we walk in, the excitement in the room shifts into full-on teasing mode. Everyone's grinning, throwing playful comments at Abhi and Ishana,I glance over at Mark, giving him the look—because obviously, this whole mess started because of him. He just shrugs, like he's totally innocent, which only makes it harder not to laugh again.)

Mark; (After a few moments, the teasing slows down—people start to realize something. Abhi and Ishana aren't even here yet. It's just me and Khushi who walked in.

I frown slightly, thinking back. I could've sworn their car was right behind ours when we left. So what's taking them so long? What's dragging them out there?)
