In the faraway reaches of a distant Star System, a mesmerizing sight stood before those who had traveled there. Dozens of planets, each one radiating a different degrees of bright colors, never once repeating.
The colors and features of each planet held mystery, hinting at untold wonders just waiting to be beheld. Some planets were peaceful and serene, bathed in gentle shades of blue and silver. While others boasted fiery reds and oranges, storms rampaging across the crust.
It was truly a sight to behold...
"Get out of my sight!"
Suddenly, a large supernova had made its way towards the star sitting at the system's center, colliding with it and engulfing it in its entirety. The supernova had briefly condensed into itself before bursting into a massive, fiery explosion of unprecedented destruction.
The planets that were closely surrounding the star had perished alongside it, having been engulfed by the explosion, with the other planets now drifting off into the vast emptiness of space, the star's gravity no longer holding them in place.
On the outskirts of the former star system, a massive ship could be seen floating amidst the distant stars, with two individuals floating on the outside of said ship.
This first individual, Cooler, the Supreme Master of the Universe. The firstborn son of King Cold and elder brother to Emperor Frieza.
The second, Zyleth, the undefeatable Saiyan Vanguard. The firstborn of the mighty Saiyan, Bardock, and right hand of Lord Cooler.
Both destroyers on a multi-galactic scale, both rumored to be more powerful than the mighty Lord Frieza himself.
"It would seem you've mastered my technique." Cooler says as he watches the supernova's explosion that was still going on.
"Nothing much to it." Zyleth replied as he wrung out his wrist, "I'm just glad you finally taught it to me. I've been wanting to create supernovas since the first time you destroyed a planet."
"That was because you were not worthy of it until now." Cooler replied, smacking his tail against the hull of the ship and adding, "But don't mistake this kindness for lenience. I fully expect you to continue going all out in your duties."
"Yeah, yeah." Zyleth groaned with a roll of his eyes. "As if I give anything less."
A sudden alert rang through both of their Scouters, to which they read the message silently before they both suddenly released groans of annoyance at the same time.
"Again? This is... what, the sixth time in the span of two weeks?" Zyleth asked.
"That short, spoiled, contemptuous, little--" Cooler growled through gritted teeth before suddenly turning and flying back into the ship. "You're dismissed for the day, Zyleth. Do whatever you please."
Zyleth let out a sigh and rubbed his tired face before flying back into the ship himself, making his way towards the Training Area.
It has been two years since Zyleth had been first inducted into the Cooler Force. And he has made quite the name for himself since that time.
While he was already high up on the chain of command, thanks to his immediate transfer into the Armored Squadron, the unusual attention given to him by Lord Cooler made him rise even higher, eventually becoming his right hand after only one year upon his joining.
After the discovery of his abilities to grow stronger after near death, Cooler pushed Zyleth to his limits time and time again. And as the power disparity became less and less, so did the growth in power.
Eventually, after a few months, Zyleth became powerful enough to actually push back, which is what both he and Cooler had been waiting for. Now instead of a one sided beat down, the two could finally get started on what they both wanted.
The two trained together religiously, pushing each other to greater, more powerful heights many never believed to be possible.

[Zyleth's POV]
I was floating in the middle of the Training Room, meditating in the lotus position. As I was meditating, a thin layer of my dark purple aura had surrounded my entire body. Reaching deeper, I find what I was looking for and grab onto it, which causes a slight spark of dark red to shine through my dark purple Ki.
My eyebrows furrow and I immediately let go of it, opening my eyes and stopping what I was doing.
"Damn..." I muttered.
It had been hours since Cooler and I separated, and I had been doing this ever since, but no matter how many times I try to grab onto that sensation, it never goes as I wanted.
I've been trying to get a handle on the Evil Saiyan transformation for two years, and nothing I do seems to work. Accessing the transformation wasn't the problem, I could transform whenever I wanted.
It was keeping my sanity that was the primary issue.
At my current state, there's no one who could match me if I transformed, no one to stop me from rampaging. Even in his fully powered Fifth Form, Cooler couldn't hope to even put a scratch on me, he would be dead in seconds.
I suppose that's the problem with growing stronger...
If you can't control yourself, you'll end up destroying everything around you whether you want to or not. And it was for that exact reason why I didn't transform into a Super Saiyan yet, even though I know for a fact that I can.
After a particularly grueling training session with Cooler, the Zenkai I had received was no where near comparable to the ones I had been receiving. I was so frustrated with my slow growth that I got decently angry, causing Cooler to notice my hair flicker with the signature Super Saiyan gold for a brief moment.
He told me about this, and soon after we finished that session I went into the Training Room to test out a theory, which later proved to be correct.
That "tingling" that the Universe Six Saiyans felt on their backs during their Super Saiyan transformations?
It was their S-Cells.
Inside every Saiyan were these microscopic cells called S-Cells. The more you have, the easier it will be to access the Super Saiyan transformation. The amount of S-Cells in a Saiyans body were determined by two factors.
The first was nature.
A gentle natured Saiyan will be able to achieve Super Saiyan much easier than a Saiyan of violent nature.
And the second was battle power.
Pretty self explanatory, the higher your battle power, or power level, the more S-Cells you have in your body.
The Universe Six Saiyans had both of those factors in a vast abundance. Compared to their Universe Seven counterparts, Universe 6 Saiyans were both gentle in nature and very powerful whilst in base thanks in large part to two very important differences between our universes.
One was that they grew to be the protectors of their universe, so their gentle nature was hugely influenced by that difference.
And the second was their lack of tails.
Without the nigh-invulnerability given to our warrior race by our Great Ape transformation, the Universe 6 Saiyans actually went through and overcame arduous battles, making them vastly stronger on average than the Universe 7 Saiyans.
Which in turn, explains the "tingling" sensation that Caulifla talked about.
The tingling they had felt during their transformations wasn't anything special to them. Every Saiyan, Universe Six or Seven, has that tingling sensation, as it was the feeling of your S-Cells building the energy needed to produce the Super Saiyan transformation.
After figuring that out, I realized that my overwhelming battle power had basically allowed me to willingly draw out the transformation without the need for an emotional trigger.
And since Caulifla later proved that a Saiyan didn't need an emotional trigger for Super Saiyan 2, it's a safe bet that I most likely wouldn't need such a thing either once my battle power grows higher and higher, which is a big load off of my shoulders.
The thought of needing an emotional trigger to access each of the Super Saiyan forms weighed on me more than I care to admit. But if all I needed was battle power, then I'm already on the right track for that.
I just needed to--
I'm suddenly snapped out of my thoughts by an alert sounding off from my Scouter. Picking it up from the ground, I check the message and see that it was Cooler calling me to the control room.
I stand up and make my way there, passing by a few of the crew, who salute me as I went along. I shook my head and let out a tired sigh. I hated that.
I've always hated these damned formalities...
All that "yes sir no sir" crap was just unnecessary in my eyes. I tried getting them to stop once, but Cooler immediately nipped that one in the bud.
"Those who are beneath you should act as such." He said, the memory playing out in my mind as if it was only yesterday.
The guy was surprisingly chill at times, but he was a damn stickler for the whole "showing proper respect" thing.
Whatever. It's not like I actually care all that much. I just think it's stupid for the crew to salute and call a child "sir".
I walk into the control room and I see Cooler and the Armored Squadron already there, waiting in the middle of the room. Cooler was sitting in his chair, as he does, and the others just stood by his side, leaving room for me on his right.
"Seems that I'm late." I said as I walked over, taking my place beside Cooler.
"You're right on time." Cooler said as he laid his head on his fist.
The big display display in the middle of the room had suddenly turned on, displaying an image of the mapped universe.
"It seems Frieza has suddenly decided to make a move." Cooler told us all, "As you all know, Frieza has been coming into Cooler Force territory unannounced more and more frequently as of late. And It seems that my ever so full of himself brother of mine is trying to pull a fast one."
A red pulse suddenly appeared on-screen, coming from the far side of the universe, highlighting more than just a few planets.
"This signal was broadcast to every Saiyan in the universe, ordering them all to return to Planet Vegeta." He said.
Ah, so this is it...
Honestly, about damn time...
I was climbing the walls waiting for Frieza to finally grow a pair and destroy the damn planet. I legitimately thought that I had broken canon with me fighting Frieza and blasting off the entire right side of his body back on Planet Vegeta.
Good to see that it wasn't the case.
While I don't really care very much about preserving the sanctity of the story's canon, I needed a reason to get my family off of Planet Vegeta and send them on their way to Earth.
Team Bardock as well if I can get my hands on them.
Unfortunately, Team Black was off-world, but Vegeta being Vegeta, I doubt he would answer the call. Though I'd have to make sure of that in a bit.
"But didn't you stake a claim on the Saiyans? Why would they follow an order from Frieza?" Neiz asked, completely confused since Frieza lost all authority of Planet Vegeta.
"Because as far as they know, the order didn't come from Frieza." Cooler said as he motioned his hand towards the map, specifically towards the ID that the signal was using to broadcast..
Looking closely at the signal ID, it looks as though a high ranking member from the Cooler Force authorized the use of the signal.
Now that was strange.
The only members who have that level of clearance was on this ship. And while morally bankrupt, none of them would stoop low enough to work with Frieza.
"That's impossible!" Salza exclaimed. "Are you telling me that we have a mole?!"
"A fair assumption, Salza, but you can rest assured that this wasn't caused by anyone in the Cooler Force. The ID is a fake. Although it is a pretty remarkable fake." Cooler replied, almost sounding as though he's impressed. "Seems as though my brother had some outside help."
"King Cold?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"That would be the most likely candidate, though I can't say for sure." Responded Cooler, given a slight nod.
"Okay, but what is Frieza doing? Why is he calling all the Saiyans back?" Dore asked.
We all turn towards him with incredulous looks, Salza even facepalming at his comrade's utter lack of brains.
"What?" Dore asked, wondering why everyone was staring at him.
"He's calling them back because he's going to blow up the planet with everyone on it." I told him.
Dore eyes widen, finally catching on to what was going on before suddenly shouting, "Wait, but isn't that Frieza declaring war?!"
The room goes silent and we all look towards Cooler.
"So it would seem." He said, his demeanor as calm as it always was.
A war between the Frieza Force and the Cooler Force. Oh, how I would love to see how that ends...
Even without me around to help, Frieza doesn't have any quality soldiers around anymore to take on the brunt of Cooler or the Armored Squadron.
Sure, there was the Ginyu Force, but we all know how that will end...
"Now, there's only the matter of how we respond to the provocation." Cooler told us.
"What do you mean, Lord Cooler?" Salza asked.
"Planet Vegeta isn't that far out of the way. We still have plenty of time to intercept Frieza and stop him. Or we could simply let him destroy it and bide time to hit him where it hurts." Cooler replied, looking at me with a sadistic grin.
"Why are you looking at me for?" I asked.
"Because I personally don't care either way. It's your planet he's about to destroy. I see no problem with having you decide its fate." He said.
My eyes widen in shock for a brief moment at his words.
He's letting me give the word?
"There's no wrong answer. We either save Planet Vegeta or let it be destroyed. Which are you going to choose?"
