As she made her way up to her office the events of last night played in her head.
She couldn't believe that she was perceived to be so cheap that boss's brothers thought they could pay her off to avoid a scandal.

If anyone should be worried about a scandal it should be her, for Christ sakes she would be seen as a home wrecker and a whore.
He could still find a wife after a scandal, he was handsome and rich, she on the other hand, she would be seen as spoilt goods and she would have to go for whomever her parents picked even if they weren't worthy enough.
She didn't even know why she came in to work today, she had after all sent her resignation letter to him, so why the hell was she here.
Perhaps it was because she was hurt by the actions of his brothers or perhaps she wanted to face him and see his reaction to her admitting that she had every intention to leave the company with the little bit of self respect she had left.
