Colin opened the door and led Jennifer to the sofa in the living room, asking softly,
"What would you like to drink?"
"Anything is fine."
Jennifer felt a bashful charm towards the attractive Wizard whom she almost engaged, but the Family's crisis dissipated those tender feelings as swiftly as clouds vanish.
Renee timely brought over two cups of tea and a plate of exquisite snacks.
"After exchanging pleasantries, Colin asked, "May I know what brings Princess Jennifer here?"
Jennifer took out that familiar half-badge and looked earnestly at Colin, saying,
"I indeed need your assistance in a matter, but before discussing it, I hope you can promise to keep it confidential."
Colin raised his eyebrows slightly and, pausing as he eyed the half-metal badge on the table, nodded gravely, "Of course, you can rely on me, Princess Jennifer."
"We would like Mr. Colin to help us open a door."
"Open a door?" Colin was slightly startled, putting down his cup of tea.
