Senior Fanny's mask twisted its patterns slightly, as if vaguely perceiving the irregularities of the world. Then her tendrils moved, and her perception expanded instantly, sweeping across the entire world and grasping the basic intelligence of this world.

Senior Fanny was utterly confused. As a historian who specialized in history, no one knew the history of the Witch World better than she did. But she couldn't recognize the world that lay before her now; this was definitely not the normal history of the Witch World.
