"What the fuck happened here?" the warriors asked Arabella as they watched the poor woman on her knees, defeated with pure terror in her eyes. She was in shock at the formality that had happened.
She had never thought that shit like this would happen and yet it all had. Arabella could hear the warriors speaking over themselves and they rushed around to look for the equine and the survivors.
She could see them about at the same time, she couldn't see them. Perhaps that was why she slowly gathered herself and let out the words that would forever haunt everyone.
"Th… they left a… a mes… message for the king… I shall de…liver it," she spoke with shaky lips as her form almost fell again, she was scared to the core.
She was horrified about what they had witnessed and while the high guards wanted to sit her down and talk to her, they could see how bloodied she was. So, one of them offered to cleanse her with magic, so she could be presentable.
