The concept of traveling was similar to teleportation, in that it allowed anyone to go anywhere as long as they envisioned themselves going there… or at least, that's how Ulysses understood it.
He didn't dare to think that he understood everything about the domain of traveling, but given his current situation, he had no choice but to leverage the little he understood with the essence within him.
But he didn't just leverage the essence of the ancestor within him.
He also leveraged that of the Lord of Flesh and Blood as a marker.
'Get me to wherever the origin of this essence is located.'
It was more a wish than anything else yet somehow, it worked.
Ulysses opened his eyes to find himself and the submarine on a stretch of land covered in grotesque trees covered with flesh-like barks and bony branches with various organs hanging off the branches like fruits.
