"Why?" Archibald muttered as he walked through the wilderness of Henos, away from the valley that had once been home to what was his greatest triumph.
Plagued by numerous emotions, most of which were negative, it was difficult to tell if they were a result of his inner thoughts or a residual effect of the waves he'd been subjected to at the valley before he passed out.
If only he hadn't accepted Alex into the village… would he have been able to avert the disaster that followed soon after their arrival?
Archibald couldn't figure out the answer to that question but even as it was farfetched to blame Alex for what happened, he found himself doing so.
