As he passed the restaurant, Chu Heng paused for a moment, then turned and went upstairs.
He hadn't taken many steps before he was bumped into by a figure.
Chu Heng subtly stepped back, observing the man in front of him whose expression was gloomy, his eyes filled with jealousy, rage, and various other complex emotions.
"Minister Fu," Chu Heng waved his sleeve and looked at him calmly.
Fu Ming sneered, "What minister am I now? Years of hard study, ruined in an instant."
"Is Minister Fu planning to speak with me here?" Chu Heng asked indifferently.
Fu Ming's face stiffened slightly; the area in front of the restaurant was bustling, surrounded by commoners and even court officials.
He looked deeply at Chu Heng, "If Lord Chu wishes, naturally we should speak inside the restaurant."
Chu Heng did not say much, simply following him inside.
In less than fifteen minutes, the two appeared in a private room on the second floor.
