We stopped in front of what looked like a castle,I gasped as I took in the beauty of this place,the exterior design took my breath away,the fragrance from the flowers in the garden made it look like we were walking right into a fairytale...
We entered inside and my jaw dropped,just like my imagination,this place is magnificent,the chandeliers that looked like there were made of ice, the tiles that was so clear I feel like I could look into my soul,the paintings that looked like I'm reading a book, the walls well crafted even made me want to believe that we just walked into a book..
"What is this place??"I couldn't help but ask
"First,shut your mouth,I can't believe your drooling over a building,focus and follow my footsteps"Lisa said
"Huh"
"Isn't it weird,you walked into a house but didn't see the owners"
"Yeah,i was too busy admiring the place to notice that"
"The house is booby-trapped,so carefully follow my footsteps"Lisa said and continued walking..
"But why?"i asked as I carefully traced her footsteps
"The owners have a lot of enemies,so they did it for their peace of mind"
"Ok,that makes sense,so who are the owners,you must be really close to them to know all these"I asked
"My dad and his friend "
"Wow,how did they come up with such an idea,it's amazing"I said with excitement
She chuckled"I know right "
"Was your dad a cop,an FBI agent,or a secret agent,did he work for the CIA or what?"
"I have no idea,he died the day I was supposed to find out and his friend is in coma till date,I didn't get the chance to find out what work my dad did and how he was so good at everything"she said...Even though I couldn't see her face I could tell that she's sad...
We stopped in front of a room and she put in a pin,we walked inside and I forgot to breath for a second, I thought I walked into a cartoon world,the room is designed with walls that looks like puzzle pieces,not a single cartoon character was missing in there,a young boy sat in front of a big screen shouting die,die,die....
Lisa sighed and walked to him,he didn't seem to notice her,so she turned off the screen to get his attention...
"Ahhh!!!,who the hell is that"he yelled in agony,but the moment he looked up,a huge smile appeared on his face...
"Warrior"he said and gave Lisa a hug.
"I told you not to call me that"Lisa said breaking away from the hug
"I heard you ran away from the cops,but this is the last place I'd expect you to come to,ever since your dad passed away we haven't heard from you"he said
"I know, funny how everything turned out, despite me wanting to live a normal life"she said with a sad smile,she sighed and looked around"your still very childish,I'm even surprised you know about me, considering the fact that you spend all your time playing video games"
"I'm always on the screen,but you became so popular,it would be a shame if I didn't know,by the way,who's that cute puppy next to you"he said pointing to me....
I looked back to check if there's someone else standing behind me,cause I didn't just hear him call me puppy.....
Lisa didn't bother answering his question"where is Carmen,I need him right now"
"It's been a while Lisa"another voice said behind me startling me...I looked back just few minutes ago and I was sure that nobody was there.....
I observed the new guy from head to toe and he looks exactly like the video game boy,the only difference is their personality,this one looks cold and mature, meanwhile video game boy looks childish and cheerful...
"Simon,meet Carmen and Darian,we grew up together, Carmen is really good with fist fight and knows how to handle his weapon, Darian is not the fist type but he's pretty talented,he knows his weapon quite well and can make a weapon out of anything"Lisa said pointing to the two guys then she turned to them "this is Simon,he worked with the FBI for a while and he will be helping me out"
"Don't tell me that your going to do what I'm thinking"Carmen said..
"Yes Carmen,I'm going to do exactly what your thinking"Lisa said rolling her eyes
"Lisa"
"I'm not asking for your help Carmen,all I need is my dad's weapons and the money he had left here for me ,that's why I'm here"
"Look Lisa,just turn yourself in, explain to the cops that you didn't do that to your mum and that you ran away because your scared,your just 16,they will believe you and do a thorough investigation "Carmen said
"If it was that easy,why do you think I'm running,look he has people ok,he has people in the station working for him"
"What are you talking about?"Darian asked.....
"The day my mum was sold,it hadn't even been 5mins Diego came back and broke the news to me,the police arrived,they marched straight to our apartment like they've been there before ,ok here's the weird part ,when Mira knocked me out and called the cops,the same guys showed up,but no problem, maybe it's just coincidence, maybe they also got to our apartment faster cause their station is close,but how come it took them so long to take me to the station,I'm pretty sure I passed out more than an hour but how come we were still on the road when I regained consciousness,that's when it hit me, maybe they are going to get rid of me,and when I escaped I realized I was very very far from home,then I realized he has people,and I can't trust the cops"Lisa said leaving all of us fascinated...
"This is what made you always the top,you are so smart so it was easy for you to always beat us"Darian said
"Well, everything you said makes sense,but you can't do this alone Lisa,it's too dangerous, look he must be a very powerful person if he has people in the station,you can't bring him down "Carman said visibly worried
"Who said I'm alone?,I have him"Lisa said and looked at me"and who said I wanted to bring him down,I just want to get my mum out of there,but I need the weapons and the money,just to be on a safer side"
"What can he do,I'm pretty sure he can't even shoot a gun"Darian said...
"So what's your plan?"Carman asked
"Why?,are you planning to help me?"Lisa asked and folded her hands
"It's been a while since we had fun "Darian said with a smile
