The residence arranged was a villa near the seaside.
A group of people arrived at the villa from the airport, and it was already 11:40 p.m. Everyone had eaten on the plane, so upon reaching the villa, they dispersed to rest on their own.
Gu Lanshan and Sheng Shi chose the room that was on the topmost floor, on the far left—a large bedroom with floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides that opened up to a spacious balcony with views of the beach and the sea.
Gu Lanshan had slept for a while on the plane, and felt somewhat refreshed upon arrival. After entering the bedroom, she first took a tour around the room and then went to the bathroom to draw a bath. After a comfortable soak, she ran a bath for Sheng Shi as well. As she came out of the bathroom, Sheng Shi happened to enter carrying a glass of milk.
Sheng Shi handed the glass of milk to Gu Lanshan, then undressed and stepped into the bathroom.
