"I've made up my mind," he said, his voice low but firm. He turned to face his men, his eyes gleaming with a new idea.
"We'll report this whole superpower awakener potion thing to General Dong. If we play our cards right, we can get into his good books." Ni Ziang smirked.
"We'll tell him that Su Jiyai kicked us out because she figured out we were the General's men."
His subordinate's eyes widened. "You mean… we pretend that we were on a mission all along?"
"Exactly!" Ni Ziang nodded, feeling more confident with each word.
"We act like we were investigating her and that she caught on. General Dong will appreciate that we got close enough for her to kick us out. We'll be heroes."
