He just stared at the ground.
Then…
A voice spoke.
"Do you want to rule the world?"
The siblings jumped up.
Standing before them was a girl.
She didn't look normal.
She had long silver hair that sparkled in the dark.
Her eyes were deep blue, glowing faintly.
She wore a white dress and didn't even look wet in the rain.
Jin and Qin backed away.
"Who are you?" Qin asked.
The girl smiled kindly. "Someone who can give you what you want."
"We don't want anything," Jin said, fists clenched.
"Really?" she tilted her head. "Not even justice for your sister? Not revenge for what your parents did? Not power?"
They froze.
"How do you know all that?"
The girl didn't answer.
Instead, she stretched out her hand.
"Sell your souls to the devil," she said. "And you'll get the strength to change everything."
Jin hesitated.
Qin did too.
Their hands almost stayed at their sides.
But then the girl whispered…
