Merciless called out to Anastasia, right after she declared they should hurry up and beat the living bricks off the Protector, and get to planning their camping trip.
However, she was soon caught off guard when Merciless began to question.
"Hmm, yes master?"
"Just asking to make sure we are on the same page here... I take it you did what I asked to the goth club?"
Anastasia smiled at this, a wicked grin came on her face, her eyes darkening at the question, truly in both mind and body, and her new soul, she has become a true Spawn.

Given that after turning into a Spawn. Something truly miraculous happened...that perplexed Merciless. The soul she once had, and lost as a result of becoming a vampire, reappeared. Or rather, a new soul was made in the places of the missing one, using her existing memories of being.
Or rather, like the case with Keziah, it was an artificial soul.
