The entirety of the Work Study lasted three months. It was the end of March and Spring was coming, and every hero vanished from the city. With Hawks info, the heroes are taking the initiative a month ahead of the Paranormal Liberation Front's plan to plunge Japan into anarchy.
Endeavor entered the hospital with dozens of heroes behind him and thought, 'I bolstered our numbers, just like you said. Here we go, Hawks.' His face burst into flames as he stomped toward Garaki who strolled through the hospital none the wiser. "So you're the one. The man behind the Nomu... and All For One's right hand! The Devil's minion, huh? You're finished!"
Garaki's face contorted into terror, and he ran, thinking, 'Damn it! I need to get Obito to come right now!'
In the mountains near the Paranormal Liberation Front's main base, Edgeshot, with hundreds of heroes, prepared the strike. He thought, 'Garaki, the Nomu, the Liberation Front. We're taking them all down at once... inside that building, all the leaders are having a meeting.' He looked back off into the distance, 'The UA kids are back there... we only need them for the initial stages... but I doubt things will go that smoothly. If that giant breaks loose, we'll be counting on you, Sasuke.'
Inside the building, Skeptic ran frantically while holding his computer, "Bubaigawara! You've done it now! Where is that fool?! This couldn't get worse! HEROES ARE COMING!"
The front of the building split in half due to Cementoss and Skeptic yelled, "The conference is canceled! Get word to the assembly hall! Violet and black regiments to the front gate! Brown, get out there too! Carmine, to the assembly hall!"
While Cementoss continued to split the building in half, Edgeshot yelled, "Don't let anyone escape! They're well-trained and ready to give their lives for the cause! If any of them get out they can keep terrorizing other places! In order to defend, we must attack!"
At another part of the building, Sasuke accompanied Hawks inside a room where he surrounded Twice with feathers. The room was dark and Twice was forced into an awkward position while Hawks held two feather swords. "Let's go over Liberation ideology. You didn't suspect a thing, right?"
Twice tried to stand, "Haw—
"—Please don't resist," a feather moved to an inch from his face, "I'm going to arrest you and hand you over to the authorities. That's how this works."
Sasuke stood in a corner of the room with a hand resting on his blade thinking, 'Twice could turn this war into a one-sided slaughter... it's not worth the risk bothering to sympathize with him, but whatever... if he gets past Hawks, I'm cutting him down in an instant.'
Further down through a tunnel, Tokoyami ran with Suneater and Fat Gum. "Should I do it?"
Fat Gum confirmed, "Go for it! Your job is to plug up this long tunnel with your full power!"
Tokoyami stood still and allowed Dark Shadow to increase in size in the darkness before unleashing it, "Dark Shadow, Ragnarok!"
At the end of the tunnel, Redestro met the beast with his own full power and grabbed onto it. Slowing it down, but Dark Shadow kept moving forward and made his feet dig divots into the concrete until his prosthetic legs snapped, sending him flying through another wall into the Assembly Hall.
Dark Shadow receded back to Tokoyami and informed him, "Tokoyami... down there there was a real nasty one."
"Yeah... the one that nearly stood up to our Ragnarok."
"No! Not that one! A real... monster!"
Back up in the room where Sasuke, Hawks, and Twice were. Twice tried to replicate himself dozens of times, but everytime Hawks would cut them down in an instant. Hawks stated, "The speed at which you replicate is astounding. But each successive double is less durable than the last." Twice's mask was cut and a tear fell from his one visible eye. Hawks continued, "After coming this far, I could never allow mere sentiment to trip me up. There's still a way forward if you come quietly now since I like you."
Twice made duplicates of the villain league, "These are my friends and you're not welcome to the club!"
Hawks expression became sollum and he destroyed the duplicates in an instant before slicing Twice across the chest and throwing him on the ground. He mounted him and held a feather sword to his face. "This is why I prioritize speed when taking down villains. It's the ones who don't know when to give up that make the most trouble. You get it yet? When neither side gives up, someone has to die."
Twice's mask was destroyed, revealing his crying face, "You people aren't heroes. Never were... none of you! You always throw us to the wolves, all of us downtrodden folk! You don't know or care... but Toga wrapped me up in a hankie... all gentle-like... betcha didn't know this either! This is the second time I've managed to screw everyone over... she probably won't do me that kindness again... but that's ok, I still gotta protect their happiness!"
Hawks replied, "I'll be sure to let the league know."
Sasuke heard footsteps outside as Hawks raised his blade to strike Twice down and said, "Hawk—
—A blue flame enveloped the room before he could respond and a manic voice said, "There's no need! I heard you loud and clear!"
When the flames settled, Sasuke saw Dabi standing over Hawks with charred feathers. "Looks like sentiment tripped you up after all, heroes!"
He tried to finish Hawks off, but Hawks position was swapped with a charred piece of the wall. He side-eyed Sasuke with a smile, "Oh yeah. I heard something about you using your quirks again. Oh well, most of Hawks weapons are gone anyway."
Hawks got up to his knees and wiped dirt off his face, "Thanks... most of my feathers are destroyed though... this is a bad match up for me."
"I got it." Sasuke eyed Twice who laid next to Dabi, "You were about to burn your friend there."
Dabi tilted his head, "I'm sure Hawks would have saved him."
Twice stumbled to his feet and tried to run for the door, "Burn, I'm good!"
Hawks yelled, "Don't move!"
Sasuke drew a kunai, but Dabi sent another burst of flames that covered him and Hawks. Dabi yelled, "Just you alone can make work of those heroes down there! Give them hell!"
Twice replied, "Yeah, ok!"
Twice got out the door to the balcony, but Hawks flew around and got within stabbing distance. Twice yelled, "OUT OF MY WAY!"
Dabi turned around, "Kiego Takami!"
Hawks' eyes went wide for a moment and he faltered, 'How did you... know my name?' But Sasuke got between him and Dabi; he intercepted his incomplete blue flames with Amaterasu.
"FINISH HIM, HAWKS!"
Hawks snapped back to reality and stabbed Twice all the way through his heart as some duplicates got away.
While Twice's lifeless body fell, the blue flames enveloped the entire balcony and Sasuke backed up, picking up Hawks and manifesting large purple wings that allowed him to fly. "How DARE you kill Twice like that?!"
Dabi grinned ear to ear and Sasuke observed Hawks, 'I could probably beat Dabi here... but Hawks is in bad shape.'
Hawks yelled, "Is that the face of a man who just watched his friend die?"
Tokoyami flew up beside Sasuke and sweated while staring at Hawks, "What happened?!"
Sasuke replied, "Dabi got us with a surprise attack. Can you take Hawks away for me?"
He handed Hawks over, who said, "Just get me out of the battle then come back to help Sasuke right away."
Tokoyami nodded and flew away above the heroes and villains fighting below. Dabi smiled at Sasuke thinking, 'One is a lot more manageable than three of them. Not to mention I've got a lot of time to cool down.' "UA's little secret murderer wants to fight me one-on-one? Gotta say, the way you buried Muscular was pretty sloppy. "
Sasuke drew his blade thinking, 'How did he know that? Whatever, it doesn't matter. Since Dabi saw what Hawks did, it'll be better to try and finish him off too.' "I'll try to make up for it with you."
At the same time far away in the barren landscape of what used to be Jaku. Shigaraki stood there with his cape waving in the wind and picked up a phone, "Come to me, Machia. And bring the others. This is where we destroy everything."
On command, a large hand shot out of the ground beneath Sasuke, and Gigantomachia roared, tearing his way above ground.
Sasuke's eyes widened, and Dabi laughed, running away and picking up skeptic before jumping on his back, "Shigaraki must have woken up; looks like my ticket out of here!"
On his way up, Gigantomachia crushed heroes and villains alike into paste and Sasuke flew down, trying to swoop heroes out of the way where he could. Gigantomachia scooped up the other league members and the building fully collapsed with every rumble he caused. A large haze of smoke covered the vicinity while Sasuke carried heroes out of the radius, "Thanks, kid!"
He flew to a safe place and dropped them thinking, 'That's him!' He observed Gigantomachia while the original League of Villain members stood on his back. Although, they didn't directly attack anyone and Gigantomachia ran away. 'Where is he going? In that direction isn't it... Jaku Hospital?'
Heroes below looked up in horror at the rumbling giant and one yelled, "We were seriously relying on some kid to stop that thing?!"
Sasuke flew at his top speed in front of Gigantomachia and readied himself, "You're not going anywhere!" Purple energy surged around him in a much larger radius than ever before.
All of his energy covered a size equal to Gigantomachia and it materialized into a fully developed Susanoo avatar with Sasuke inside a diamond in its head.
The league looked at him over Gigantomachia's head and Spinner looked frantically between everyone, "Are you guys seeing this?! How the hell can someone make something that big?!"
Dabi stood up and shot a large burst of flames at the Susanoo, "Out of our way!"
Gigantomachia mindlessly ran forward with his arms up and Sasuke moved forward, slipping under one of his arms and wrapping around Gigantomachia's torso before kicking his leg from under him and slamming him into the ground. Gust of wind and the force of the slam made trees fall and blow like there was a hurricane while some heroes cheered. Gigantomachia started pushing Sasuke off, and he thought, 'Something like that isn't keeping this monster down; I need to put you down for good!'
He raised an arm, preparing to manifest a sword when he heard a deep menacing voice behind him, "Hello there, Sasuke."
He jolted around and saw a palm reaching for his face, but drew his blade and tried to slice the man's arm off. However, the sword phased through his arm that phased through his face, and Sasuke made eye contact with a single red eye with three tomoe in an orange swirled mask. Sasuke manifested a ribcage thinking, 'A phaser like Mirio?'
The man kicked the ribcage, sending Sasuke flying into the ground away from Gigantomachia. Sasuke shot up to his feet and eyed the man cautiously with gritted teeth, "Who are you?!"
He replied, "My name's Obito. What were you planning to do there? You thought you were gonna stop Gigantomachia?"
Sasuke stared off at Gigantomachia as he became smaller and smaller in the distance, 'That thing's gonna get a lot of people killed; 1A is in that direction too!' He said, "I am stopping him, and you're in the way!"
He tried to blitz through Obito with a Chidori, but he went straight through his body. Instead of turning around, he kept going and tried to fly back to Gigantomachia, but Obito jumped on top of him and grabbed his head. "You're not going anywhere, Sasuke."
For the briefest moment, Sasuke felt like his entire body was being spaghettified, but he swapped places with a tree branch on the ground. He glared at Obito, who laughed with the tree branch nowhere in sight, "I'm glad you're finally using everything that's been granted to you, Sasuke. And the fact that you think you could have stopped Gigantomachia... I can see why AFO wants your quirk now."
Sasuke thought, 'What the hell was that? The tree branch is gone. Going off what's happened, it seems like his intangibility is an on-off switch for his whole body, unlike Mirio... but when he touched me it was like... getting sucked into a black hole… I can use it more than before, but Amenotejikara still has a moderate cool down… Can't risk getting into a situation like that again. This guy is tough. I can't let his hands touch me no matter what.'
At the HSPC building, Nagant sat with Madam President in her office eating sweets with a big grin. Madam President side-eyed her, "You really should slow down on eating so much of those."
"I have slowed down! It's just so good though..."
"You might get fat."
"I have great metabolism! Besides I'll just burn it off later," she waved her off.
Madam President sighed and looked back at her computer, "The fight out there isn't looking good so far. There's already tons of mass destruction reports."
Nagant looked out the window and thought, 'Wish I could be out there helping... but I gotta guard this place from...' She peered her eyes at a black figure coming from the sky and increasing in size. "Madam President, get down!" She grabbed her out of her chair and dove to the wall as what looked like Re-Destro crashed through the window.
She turned her arm into a sniper and shot through his head right away, making it explode into black slime. The entire mass melted into a black puddle that fell off the edge of the now-broken window. Nagant's hair flapped from the incoming winds of the outdoors and picked up Madam President who asked, "What was that?"
"I'm not sure… It looked kind of like how Hawks described Twice's quirk... Let's get out of here." The two left the room and Nagant thought, 'Just what is going on out there?'
