Seeing the expression on Luo An's face, Augustus nodded with satisfaction. Knowing that Luo An always had a sense of measure, he did not continue with idle talk but changed the subject and asked:
"What are your thoughts on the 'Lake Serial Killings' now? I remember Rider gathered quite a bit of information in those days."
Upon hearing this, Luo An's eyelids twitched, and he felt a headache coming on.
After a moment of silence, he said:
"According to the information, the killer took the rings from each victim's hand. I suspect their husbands might know something, so I'm planning to go and talk with several of the victims' husbands."
"OK."
Seeing that Luo An had a plan, Augustus took a sip of his coffee and nodded:
"Call immediately if there's any issue; Team 5 is ready to assist at any time."
"Understood, sir."
