The crime scene for this case was located on Manhattan Island, not far from the Jacob Federation Building. It only took Luo An and Reesi a few minutes to reach the destination.
The SUV slowly stopped by the roadside, Luo An and Reesi unbuckled their seat belts, jumped out of the car, and quickly walked towards the bakery opposite.
The body was lying next to the sedan by the bakery's entrance.
"Hello, I am Luo An Greenwood..."
Upon seeing the police tape put up by the NYPD, Luo An instinctively reached to take out the gold badge in his pocket to introduce his identity.
But before he could finish, the NYPD detective across from him turned his head, walked over, and patted Luo An on the shoulder:
"I didn't expect it to be you, Luo An. This case actually fell into your hands!"
Seeing the smile on the detective's face, Luo An also smiled:
"So it's you, Detective Walton!"
