After the last class of the morning, Gu Jiao went to find Gu Xiaoshun for lunch.
Mu Qingchen thought for a moment and stopped her, "Are you really in need of silver?"
Gu Jiao looked at him.
He opened his mouth and said, "Actually, there is a job available. It's a bit tough, but if you want it, I can take you there after school."
"Alright," Gu Jiao agreed.
Mu Qingchen frowned and looked at her, "Don't you want to ask what the job is?"
Without thinking, Gu Jiao said, "What kind of inhumane job could a young master like you possibly come across?"
Mu Qingchen was at a loss for words.
After school, Gu Jiao told Gu Xiaoshun to go home first as she had something to take care of.
"Sis, do you want me to go with you?" Gu Xiaoshun asked in a low voice.
"No need," Gu Jiao said.
She could manage the work on her own.
Gu Xiaoshun always listened to her and, scratching his head upon hearing her words, said, "Okay, then I'll leave first, make sure you come back early too."
