Daohua had waited in the space for half an hour, counting silently until she was sure no one was around the crate. Then she flashed out of the space, only to be dazzled by the sheer amount of silver in front of her.
Before she could be shocked, her sudden appearance popped the crate open, and the silver inside spilled out, clattering to the ground.
The loud noise frightened Daohua, who quickly looked around. Seeing no one nearby, she let out a sigh of relief and quickly climbed out of the crate.
She was in a spacious tomb chamber, filled with about twenty crates.
Daohua opened a few crates to find that most of them were filled with shimmering silver, while the rest contained glittering gold bars.
"No wonder Xiao Yechi risked his life to return to the capital."
With so much gold and silver, she would have come back to take it too.
After inspecting the silver and gold bars and seeing no marks on them, Daohua quickly transferred the crates into her space.
