Kevin struggled to recall an important part of the plot. The Southern Duke's wife may appear polite, quiet and gentle. She really was, it's just her powers were nothing alike her personality at all.
She can create a human like puppet out of dolls. Their appearance and manner of speech are like humans but all information they see and hear are being transmitted to her.
Kevin included this detail last minute into his novel to make it even more difficult.
Especially for his smart protagonist whose current identity is a Prince.
Kevin watched Ace go. Ash, who was at the front, also notice the noble son of the Redwick household leaving his seat.
