Kevin languidly shakes his head.
"My brain cells are still intact. Thank you very much."
Ace rolled his eyes. He stared at the wall and looked at Kevin with questioning eyes.
"What is this?"
"Clue."
Kevin pointed up. "Wanna climb?"
Ace grabbed the end of the stairs and tried to pull it down. The stairs barely moved downwards. A clear indication that it was tightened in wherever it was connected from.
Ace accepted easily Kevin's knack to find things.
He just has to remind himself that Ace has that clue finding skill. Almost like a cat that finds strange things in corners.
Ace was in the middle of climbing up when Edward and Ivan's voices echoed from the door.
Kevin looked up at him.
"I will check."
Kevin turned around. Ace hesitated for a moment before jumping down and pressing the dent Kevin found. It immediately retracted the stairs back to the ceiling.
As if nothing happened.
