Chapter 2 - Vol.1 - Ch 1: The End & The Beginning

The Universe. It is one of the most fascinating things in all existence. It is the home to many stars, planets, and mysteries. For years, the mortals yearned for the universe. Yerned for the the mysteries it holds. Yet no one managed to unrivaled any of it.

And in this vast universe, a strange event started to happen. Stars shook, their bright forms vibrating as if in tune with an invisible power. Multiple stars and planets seemed to appear and disappear, while rips in space-time cut through the cosmos. Stars once thought unchanging blew up sending out a weird new kind of energy into space.

Far from the busy areas full of space wonders, in an empty part of the universe with no stars or life, chaos took over. Huge explosions burst out here and there sending out waves that destroyed everything they touched. Space-time itself ripped apart leaving behind big holes full of wild messy energy.

This energy, unlike any other, shone in a rainbow of hues, including those wavelengths that no living beings can't see. It was a breathtaking view—spellbinding, alien, and gorgeous. However, under its charming show was a sneaky power wiping out everything it came into contact with. Its loveliness drew in anyone who looked at it, but the cost of such amazement was total ruin.

During one of these devastating bursts of wild energy, two beams of light appeared racing away from each other. They tore through the wreckage resisting the mayhem as if they had a mission the universe couldn't understand.

From far away, you might think these two beams of light were just space objects. But a closer look showed something much more amazing. They weren't just lifeless junk or space events—they were living things floating through the huge emptiness of space without any protection. No normal life form could do this, but these two moved in the harsh vacuum and wild energy like it was no big deal.

These weren't just any beings though. They were godlike creatures often worshipped by regular people because of their unmatched powers. But they weren't gods in the usual way we think about them. These beings didn't have parents, and they didn't come from years and years of evolution like most living things do.

Instead, they were manifestations of the universe itself, born directly from its essence. Formed from the boundless energies and fundamental forces of existence, they embodied the universe's laws, shaped by the chaotic and harmonious forces that governed its creation. They were living representations of the cosmos, unique and incomprehensible, standing apart from the laws that bound ordinary beings.

They were Celestials. The Masters of the Laws.

The two beams of light slowed down stopping in the middle of the spinning mess. Their shapes started to change, the bright glow peeling off to show two huge figures. Each had the power to change galaxies, but they couldn't be more different.

One gave off a calm golden light comforting even with all the wreckage around. His form looked well-balanced, and he moved with care. The other burned with a red glow, his energy wild and jumpy sparking like lightning. His form seemed to beat with raw chaos, like a storm held back.

The distinguished figure radiated a commanding presence, exuding an aura of exceptional strength. He regarded his opponent with evident superiority and addressed him with unwavering confidence.

-------

"Yield now, Jovinar. No matter what you do, you won't be able to stop me now," he asserted, his voice resonating with authority. "You may have won the many battles between us but in the end, I won the war. I am on the verge of achieving transcendence, while you have yet to approach that threshold. Despite the disparity in our abilities, you chose to challenge me—a being far superior to your current state!"

Jovinar, surrounded by a vibrant crimson aura, lifted his gaze, determination evident in his eyes.

"Ignathazzar," he responded, his tone steady in the face of adversity. "You think you have won?! I have defeated you before. What makes you think you will win this time?"

Ignathazzar's golden form pulsed with intensity as he dismissed Jovinar's resolve. "How laughable! I am a semi-transcendence being but you have yet to touch the threshold. It's only a matter of time before you lose."

Then with a sharp look on his face, Ignathazzar calls out to him, "It's time for you to die, You savage beast!"

With that, the two formidable beings engaged in a fierce confrontation, their clash reverberating through the cosmos. Waves of energy erupted with each exchange, the magnitude of their struggle overshadowing the chaotic energies surrounding them.

As the confrontation approached its climax, Ignathazzar's radiant glow began to wane, his form flickering as if unraveling. Jovinar stood resolutely before him, battered yet unbroken, the brilliance of his crimson aura diminished.

Ignathazzar's voice quivered with a mix of anger and disbelief. "It appears you have prevailed once more, Jovinar. However, let it be known that this is not the conclusion! When we next encounter one another, I will have transcended the very laws of reality!"

Jovinar's expression intensified. "You will not have that opportunity."

With determined resolve, he advanced toward Ignathazzar, his entire being aglow with crimson energy.

"What are you attempting?" Ignathazzar asks confused by his actions.

Ignathazzar's voice betrayed a hint of panic as Jovinar began to shine even brighter with the chaotic energy absorbed into him "If you proceed with this absorption of Primal energy, you will erase your very own existence!"

Jovinar offered a faint smile, a blend of sorrow and determination. "It is inconsequential to me. It is time to conclude our conflict once and for all."

[Pic: Jovinar's looks before his sacrifice]

In an act of profound sacrifice, Jovinar channeled everything he possessed—his energy, the essence of his soul, his consciousness, and even his Origin, the foundation of any lifeform—into a final offensive. The sphere of energy surrounding him expanded, growing brighter and consuming all in its path.

The very fabric of space began to rupture, drawing more of the Primal energies that managed to get into the universe. The sphere absorbed more Primal energy, displaying a myriad of colors from the surrounding chaos, glowing with an unprecedented brilliance.

Ignathazzar's voice filled with desperation. "No! This cannot be! I am eternal!"

In an astonishing burst that resonated throughout the cosmos, the sphere of energy detonated, scattering beautiful multicolored energy across the universe, and transforming the night sky into a breathtaking display.

To the living beings in the universe, it became a memory of the night when the heavens were illuminated with vibrant light. However, they would remain unaware of the tale of the two divine beings—Ignathazzar and Jovinar—and the ultimate sacrifice made to ensure their existence.

Many eons later, a magnificent castle hovers above a pristine lake in a dimension of endless white. Deep within its halls, a massive stone stands alone, its surface etched with intricate patterns that pulse like a living flame.

Then, without warning, a single crack appears across its ancient surface.
