Jacob Powell paced back and forth in his study, then dialed Xaviera's number, full of blame in his tone: "Xaviera, Quinn is the lifesaver of Madam Mamet, you shouldn't try to wedge their relationship."
Xaviera's phone rang, and she answered it without checking the number. Upon hearing Jacob Powell's voice, she frowned.
After glaring at him for a while, only silence came from the other end of the phone, so he tentatively called out: "Xaviera?"
