It was the morning of August 29 and Natsu and woke up to Luna in his arms, snoring softly. He chuckled and kissed her forehead, causing her to stir. She slowly opened her eyes to see Natsu staring lovingly at her.
"Good morning Crystal." Natsu said, using Luna's nickname he gave her when they were kids. She smiled back at him.
"Morning Pinky." Luna said, using Natsu's childhood nickname as well. She ruffled his pink hair then sat up and removed the covers from her legs as she swung them over the side of the bed. She stood up and went to her travel bag to grab her clothes and went into the bathroom to get ready for the day. When she exited, Natsu was already dressed and waiting right outside the bathroom door.
"Ready to go?" Luna asked Natsu.
"Need to take a leak first, then I'll be ready." Natsu said as he walked past her into the bathroom and closed the door behind him. After he was finished washing his hands, he joined Luna and they left their hotel room, met up with Happy and Elise and they all went to a restaurant for breakfast. Then they went to the Rose Garden theme park. Unfortunately, Natsu and Luna couldn't really enjoy a lot of it because of their dragon slayer motion sickness, but they played the games there and enjoyed winning prizes while their exceeds rode on the rides together. They also also got some drinks and snacks from the food stalls that were located throughout the park. Once they had their fun at the theme park, they looked around at the shops there at Rose Garden then went to dinner at another restaurant. Luna had to use the bathroom quite frequently throughout the day. It was like her bladder had shrunk to the size of a grape or something. Fortunately for her, there were plenty of bathrooms around the city. After dinner, they went back to the Hills Hotel and called it a day.
~Time Skip~
The next morning, Natsu, Luna, Happy, and Elise left Rose Garden to head back to Fairy Tail so they could take on jobs again. They were nearly broke from that honeymoon trip. Happy and Elise flew them as far as their energy would allow. Then they took the train the rest of the way home. As always, Natsu's and Luna's motion sickness kicked in on the train ride. Once it reached Magnolia, Natsu leaped off the train, his motion sickness going away. Luna stumbled off the train, but she was still nauseous. She found it strange because it always went away after she got off of the train or whatever transportation she may have been taking. Natsu looked back at Luna and gave her a concerned look.
"Luna? You don't look so good. Are you feeling alright?" Natsu asked Luna as he approached her and rubbed her back.
"Actually, I uh- urp... am not feeling so well. I'm still nauseous even though I'm not on the train anymore." Luna said while trying not to throw up. Natsu picked her up bridal style.
"It's okay. I'll take you home so you can go rest up." Natsu said as he kissed her forehead. He carried her bridal style to their cottage. Happy opened the door for them as they went inside. Elise followed and Happy shut the door behind him. Natsu gently laid Luna down on the bed and sat down next to her, stroking her hair. She reached up and placed her hand on his cheek.
"Go ahead to the guild hall without me." Luna said.
"What about you? I can't just leave you here all alone when you're not feeling well." Natsu said with a worried look on his face.
"It's just a little nausea. I'll be fine. If you're really that worried about me, just go to the guild hall real quick to tell everyone we're back then come right home." Luna said as Natsu put his hand on top of her hand that was on his cheek.
"But we also need money now that we spent almost all we had left on the honeymoon trip." Natsu said as Luna suddenly got up and rushed to the bathroom and shut the door. Natsu could hear her retching on the other side of the door. When she was done, she exited the bathroom and went back to the bedroom where Natsu was.
"If you're worried about our finances, go on a job with Lucy. If she's not available, just take on a solo job." Luna said as she lay back on the bed.
"You sure you're okay with that?" Natsu asked Luna who sighed and shook her head.
"Like I said it's just a little nausea, not anything serious. You don't have to worry about me." Luna told Natsu.
"No I mean me going on a job with Lucy. Remember, I almost chose her instead of you. Plus, she still has feelings for me." Natsu said lowering his head and fidgeting with his fingers.
"Natsu, I trust you. And I trust Lucy. I'm not worried about anything happening between you two." Luna said as she reached up and caressed Natsu's cheek with her hand. He placed his hand on hers and savored her cooling touch.
"Now go to the guild hall." Luna said as she pulled her hand away from his cheek.
"Okay." Natsu said as he leaned in a kissed Luna's forehead. He stood up from the bed and left the bedroom. Happy got off the couch and followed him as he headed towards the door.
"Elise, can you come with me to Fairy Tail?" Natsu asked Elise who was still sitting on the couch.
"Why? Someone needs to be here with Luna. I am not leaving her here all alone." Elise said while crossing her arms.
"Luna told me she'd be fine on her own. Also, I may take on a job with Lucy if she's not on one already. If I do that, I'll need you to come back here and tell Luna that. But if I don't, we'll just head back home together. Either way, you'll be right back." Natsu said as Elise sighed and got off the couch.
"Fine. I guess I can accompany you." Elise said as she followed Natsu and Happy to the Fairy Tail guild hall. When they got there, Lucy approached them.
"Hey Natsu! Welcome back. How was your honeymoon at Rose Garden?" Lucy greeted Natsu.
"Thanks Lucy. Glad to be home. It was great. Luna and I had a really good time there." Natsu replied to her.
"So where's Luna?" Lucy asked Natsu.
"She's not feeling well, so she's back at the cottage." Natsu told Lucy who gave him a bit of a frown.
"Then shouldn't you be back home taking care of her?" Lucy said, putting her hands on her hips.
"Well I offered to, but she said she'd be fine on her own and told me to come here and take on a job. We're pretty much broke now because of that honeymoon trip after all. Speaking of which, are you free to go out on a job right now?" Natsu said, scratching the back of his head.
"I guess I can go out on a job with you. I'm not particularly busy at the moment. But is Luna okay with that? You and me going out on a job together alone?" Lucy said.
"She told me she's fine with that and that she trusts both of us." Natsu told Lucy.
"Okay then. Let's pick out a job together." Lucy said as she lead the way to the job board with Natsu, Happy, and Elise following behind her. Natsu wanted to stay in town just in case Luna got significantly worse. That and he didn't want to use any transportation because of his motion sickness. They picked out a job at a maid and butler cafe since it was the only local job posting left on the board. Elise then went back to the cottage to tell Luna Natsu was going out on a job with Lucy. On the way to the cafe, Natsu, Happy and Lucy talked with each other.
"So what exactly is wrong with Luna?" Lucy asked Natsu.
"Luna has an upset stomach. She was still nauseous even after we got off the train." Natsu told Lucy.
"Hmm that is odd. Usually you two are fine after the train stops moving." Lucy said, putting her finger to her chin.
"That's not the only thing that was off about her today. She had to use the bathroom quite often." Natsu mentioned.
"Yeah she never has to go that frequently." Happy added as a moment of silence followed as Lucy thought for a moment.
"Hmm... I wonder..." Lucy said out loud as Natsu glanced at her.
"What was that?" Natsu said as Lucy shook her head.
"Oh, it's nothing." Lucy said, smiling as she waved her hands back and forth. When they got to the cafe, they changed into their uniforms. The maid and butler cafe owner explained he had accidentally given his only three servers the same day off so he needed people to fill in for them. Natsu, Happy, and Lucy all started the shift. Lucy started to really get into her role as a maid which Happy pointed out to Natsu and the two of them snickered. Lucy almost lost her cool in front of a customer because of that. Meanwhile back at the cottage, Elise had already gone back home and told Luna that Natsu decided to go on a job with Lucy.
"Thanks for letting me know Elise. I'm going to take a shower now." Luna said as she went into the bathroom. After she undressed, she noticed that her areolas were a little darker than normal. She shrugged and stepped into the shower and began to wash up. Her breasts felt a little tender and sore as she scrubbed them clean. She didn't really think anything of it and finished her shower.
~Time Skip~
It was August 31 and Luna was talking with Lucy at the Fairy Tail guild hall. Then Luna needed to use the restroom again. She had been going a lot more frequently lately. She's also continued to have nausea on and off even when she wasn't on any mode of transportation.
"Excuse me a minute. I'll be right back." Luna said as she excused herself and headed to the women's bathroom. When she returned to the table, Lucy brought something up.
"Hey Luna? Do you think you might be pregnant?" Lucy asked the ice dragon slayer.
"What makes you think that?" Luna asked her best friend.
"Well, you've been getting nauseous a lot lately and you've needed to go to the bathroom more frequently. Also, have you gotten your period at all? Mine started a couple days ago." Lucy said. Come to think of it, Luna hadn't gotten her period yet. She and Lucy usually started on the same day too.
"No, no I haven't." Luna answered Lucy.
"We should get you a pregnancy test. Come on let's go." Lucy said as she got up with Luna following behind her. They went to the store and Luna bought a pregnancy test. Then she went home to test herself. When the second line appeared in the outlined box on the stick, her eyes widened. Luna couldn't wait to tell Natsu. She ran back to the guild hall and burst through the doors and ran up to him.
"Luna? What's wrong? Are you okay? You're tearing up." Natsu asked Luna as she wiped her tears away and held up the pregnancy test to show him the results.
"Natsu, I'm pregnant! You're going to be a father." Luna said as she pointed at the positive pregnancy test. Natsu smiled and let out a chuckle before picking her up and twirling around with her in his arms as he kissed her. This caught the attention of everyone that was in the guild hall. Everyone started congratulating the two of them.
"I'm so happy for you guys!" Lucy said to Luna and Natsu as she wrapped her arms around both of them. Gray came up to Natsu and gave him a fist bump.
"Congratulations." Gray said to Natsu.
"Thanks man." Natsu said back.
"You're a real man." Elfman said, clapping Natsu on the back. Erza then approached Luna and placed her hand on her shoulder.
"That's some exciting news. Congratulations." Erza said as Luna smiled at her.
"Thank you Erza." Luna said as Cana grabbed a barrel of beer.
"Let's drink to celebrate!" Cana said as she started chugging the beer straight from the barrel. Everyone cheered and started to celebrate the exciting news of Luna's and Natsu's first child.
