When I entered Campbell's room my first reaction was to throw myself on the bed like how I always did when I was having a depressed moment. Yet as soon as my face collided with the pillow I got a whiff of his cologne and I could not help but gag.
The scent of him reminded me of all my dumb teenage fantasies and the first time he had given me his hoodie. Why? I would never know. I still did not understand the fascination with your boyfriend's hoodie.
Was it is because when I wore it and everyone knew I was his that I felt like I belonged to him? That he had claimed me as his or was it the fact that it looked like a dress on me that made me love it so much.
Even though he and I were due to marry we had never even shared a room. I had only laid down on his bed when I spent time with him in his room whilst he worked, but the door was always open so not much happened anyway.
