[ Ash's POV ]
"This battle will end with all of your death's so enjoy your last moments." I say to the assassins before I charge at Aki keen on ending his life.
Yui and Rei stand in the same spot and watch as our battle begins. Not interfering as in a battle between highly trained professionals one slight mishap spells death. Setting aside thoughts about the other assassins, I put all my focus into watching Aki's body language anticipating even the slightest movement of his muscle.
Once the distance between us two had been closed, he had risen his arm to deliver a slash to my neck. Seeing this, I immediately prepare to counter his strike but as his strike was nearing... There it was, the slightest twitch of his muscle fibers indicating the re-direction of his current strike's trajectory.
Within this very moment, something seemed to have awakened inside of me. My thoughts began moving at lightning speed rendering all thoughts other than calculations of his next move void. My reaction speed being shot to unprecedented levels as the world around me seems to slow down.
What is this feeling? I'm seeing Aki's movements in slow motion, why can I think in the middle of a fight? No, I need to focus!
Countless variations of attacks fill my mind while the probability of each attack pattern enters my mind and before I know it, his dagger was right in front of me. Aki had re-directed the neck slash into a upwards slash aiming to pierce through my neck from the bottom.
Not being used to thinking faster than my body I felt odd, but I soon erased that feeling and focused my attention on the fight.
Slowly adapting to my new found reaction speed and quick thinking I had immediately blocked his slice and countered with my other dagger successfully landing a blow on Aki's arm.
After being cut by my dagger Aki had retreated back and gained a bit of distance between us to regain his composure. I allowed this because at the moment I was disoriented by my own body right now.
As I began to adapt to my body, my mind and body had become synergized allowing me to make decisions while in the middle of life and death combat. As I began to rush Aki once again he began to scream at me while rushing towards me once again.
"You won't make it off this mountain alive ASURAAAAAAAAA!" Aki screamed as he slashed at my waist. He seemed to have been shrouded by rage, losing the bearings of an assassin. Making it all the easier for me to kill him in his moment of blind rage.
[ General POV ]
Aki's speed was truly remarkable as he rushed at Ash, but that's if he were to be facing any other person. Against Ash in this very moment who seemed to have awakened potential hidden deep down inside of him it seemed as though he was a child jogging towards him.
As Aki's dagger finally reached near Ash's waist, in a swift motion the grip on the blade was switched and redirected at Ash's heart as to which Ash had already seemingly predicted in his state of lightning quick reaction speed.
Then in what seemed like a fraction of a second to the assassin, Ash had already sliced the tendons in his wrist open and side stepped behind him to deliver a lethal slash to the major arteries in his neck.
Aki was still standing trying to deliver the lethal blow to Ash but without him even noticing, he had already been cut down by Ash's daggers. Aki was in shock as he was truly focused the entire fight, he had even gone without blinking this entire time and yet... he still seemed to have missed the exact moment the Asura had made his move and got behind him.
He grit his teeth and tried to take a breath but he failed and he fell into the cold snow, seemingly lifeless and never to see the light of day again.
"AKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!" Yui and Rei screamed upon noticing the death of their comrade.
"We're going to fucking kill you and feed you to dog's you son of a bitch!" Said Yui, being blinded by monstrous amounts of rage.
"You're already dead to me." Ash taunted.
Ash immediately felt a tinge of danger and then leapt backwards but as he leapt backwards, his ankle was nicked slightly by the presumed dead Aki he had just taken out. Aki in his final moments used the final surge of willpower in him to cut Ash at least once.
Ash not realizing why he had sensed danger from a dying man disregarded the wound given to him by Aki in his final moments.
Ash smirked and then slammed his foot down with immense force onto the dying Aki's head crushing his skull and finally ending the mans life. Feeling great exhaustion from utilizing the high speed thinking for so long, Ash had long realized that he must end this as quick as possible.
"I can't waste time, I'm running out of energy." Ash quietly muttered to himself.
Then Ash rushed at both remaining assassins with a blatant disregard for their strength or expertise as these few moments would determine whether he lives or dies because if he doesn't end this soon, he will collapse from exhaustion and that'll be a free ticket to hell for him.
BOOM
An intense ringing seemed to enter Ash's ears instantly as his right ear was blasted off by a Colt 1911 Yui had been hiding on his person. Blood gushed out crazily from Ash's now destroyed ear, leaving Ash dazed for a moment before regaining his bearing and disregarding the missing ear.
The pain by this wound would have an adult man into shock instantly and made them pass out but not Ash, this man has been forged by walking side by side with death. This absolute devil in human skin had been wounded so much that he's has trained himself to negate all sensations of pain that he feels.
"HAHAHA, I got that fucker, he's finally fucking dead Rei we're gonna be filthy rich" Said Yui, believing that he had killed Ash with that perfectly lined up shot.
Then the smoke cleared from the barrel of the gun, revealing Ash to still be alive and kicking rushing towards them once again.
Yui seemed dazed as he was sure that he had hit Ash right in middle of the head. He had lined it up perfectly, he never misses his target.
But unbeknown to Yui, Ash in his current state had already seen him line up the shot before he had taken it and slightly moved his head to the side before the shot even came as he had already made predictions regarding the angle at which he should tilt his head, so that he keeps his balance and doesn't use unwanted amounts of energy to dodge.
Ash had already come up with the perfect action to take, he had already seen the multitude of outcomes possible in that very moment, his mind being on overdrive.
The speed of his thinking amping itself even higher, reaching limits not thought possible by humans. It seems in that moment, Ash had become akin to a walking supercomputer.
But understanding that thinking uses energy when at high levels Ash had also come to the prediction of his death within the next minute.
{Probability Calculated: 100%}
As he had come to this realization, a thick fog started to cover their battlefield obscuring the remaining assassins vision.
This thick fog caused Yui and Rei to slightly panic before regaining their calm and for some reason Yui had decided to stay in the same position.
Ash in his current state had calculated the most probable movements to make in that exact instant in order to take down Yui and Rei. And based on Yui's muscle fibers not making a single sound, he had become completely still as he still heard Rei charging past him not realizing he had already blown past me with the fog obscuring his vision.
The best possible outcome to deal with Yui who is completely stationary, Ash began thinking hard utilizing the speed at which his brain calculated the wind drag, distance, momentum and inertia he needed to be aware of then there it was! Ash had figured out the best probable move to make against Yui.
The outcome which Ash had come up with was to use the inertia and momentum from him running to launch one of his daggers 73 degrees to the right causing the wind which was blowing east to give the dagger a boomerang effect resulting in the trajectory of the dagger being alongst the neck of Yui which will effectively cut the major arteries in his neck and killing him quickly and efficiently.
And somehow when Ash had launched the dagger, it did exactly as he had expected curving in an arc just like a boomerang right before coming into contact with Yui's neck.
Unbeknown to Yui, his neck was sliced clean through by a flying dagger he hadn't ever seen coming as the thick fog produced by the snowy mountain obscuring his vision hindered his eyesight allowing this move made by Ash to bear fruit.
Yui had never even realized his neck had been cut, the blood draining from his throat caused by the major arteries being sliced had caused him to lose consciousness immediately and that he did. To never wake again, granted eternal rest never to even realize how he had died.
Although it may seem as though this sequence of events are taking place within minutes, all of Ash's actions had been moving on the scale of seconds. He had came up with the perfect plan to eradicate Yui and executed it to perfection within seconds.
And fortunately for Rei, the fog had wafted away and to his surprise in the distance there lay Yui face first in the snow covered in his own blood.
Not thinking about Yui for another moment, Rei had charged at Ash with a hatred so mind shattering that it seemed as though it materialized out of thin air. Ash under the effects of the awakened state had realized that earlier he'd been poisoned by the simple grazing of the now deceased Aki's blade.
The awakened state wears off leaving a mentally exhausted Ash to fight off Rei before he dies as he only has about a meager 40 seconds left to finish him. Rushing at Rei, they had clashed blades in this very moment.
Ash knew his time was almost up. That dagger that had merely grazed him earlier was definitely a fast-acting poison but from Ash's awakened state and training to poison resistance his body had managed to slow down the effects for a while but now he felt it clawing at his life.
He had become much slower, his reaction speed slowing down, and he was beginning to be sluggish. He knew we wasn't going to make it out alive, yet he donned the most devilish grin possible and laughed.
"I won't make it out of here even after I kill you, the poison will finish me off. And I'd rather die in battle with my life on the line!" Said Ash as he had firmed his resolve to die in battle, his killing intent so great that it seemed to make Rei's knees buckle for a moment.
Within the very next moment an attack Ash should be able to easily dodge even whilst poisoned had struck him, he had purposefully allowed himself to be fatally wounded. But at the same time that he had allowed himself to be struck, he had sliced through the carotid arteries in the assassins neck whilst getting sliced through his.
They both fell to the ground, Rei adopting a terrified face, tears seemed to want to come out but to no avail.
'It seems Rei is scared of death, how unbefitting of an assassin.'
'Hah, what a life. I had experienced the most joy I'll ever have in life when killing all those people, guess today is it. It's the end...' Ash thought as he now was unable to formulate thoughts.
His eyes widening and with one final attempt to breathe, he closes his eyes. To be taken into the hands of death and granted eternal torment with the rest of his slain enemies in hell.
