Chapter 6: The Light of the Universe 1.0

Su Hao's request to have a younger sibling was accepted by his parents. However, when they would be able to meet the new addition to the family was uncertain.

Su Hao had his reasons for making this request.

He realized that what he pursued was different from others. In the future, he might not be a qualified son, and he didn't know how to pretend to be a real one. To make up for the future lack of time to spend with his parents, he made the request for them to have another child.

With a considerable amount of savings in the family, there were no financial difficulties to consider. The only concern was whether his parents were willing to raise another child.

In reality, Su Hao had overthought the matter. His parents had wanted a second child for a long time. It was just that Su Hao had always been very clingy from a young age, and his parents considered his feelings, so they never brought up the idea of having another child. Gradually, they stopped mentioning it altogether.

Having given birth to a genius like Su Hao gave his parents an inexplicable confidence in their own genes. They believed that having more children would undoubtedly contribute to the country's development, benefiting society and humanity.

...

Once Su Hao had a solid grasp of the foundational knowledge in various disciplines, he immersed himself in the compilation of the two-dimensional system language. He wanted to learn as quickly as possible and start developing a system for his ball space.

One year later, at the age of 12, Su Hao successfully encoded the chaotic information in the ball space and classified it. He established various categories such as "mathematics," "physics," "chemistry," "biology," "information technology," "industrial manufacturing," "agriculture," "astronomy," "art," and "weapons." This simple functionality was called "The Light of the Universe 1.0," or "Little Light" for short.

At the same time, Su Hao gained a chubby two-month-old younger brother named Luo Chaoxin.

"Pride and Prejudice," which he happened to have read, though he didn't fully understand it, he didn't care. He copied it! It was published and became a bestseller.

Another year passed, and at the age of 13, Su Hao successfully compiled a search system within the ball space. It could quickly search for the required information, upgrading it to "The Light of the Universe 1.1."

The adapted version of "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" was published and became a sensation. Su Hao's reputation as a genius was unparalleled.

Yet another year later, at the age of 14, Su Hao achieved the ability to record and automatically encode, classify, and store information at any time and place within the ball space. He also achieved interaction between information in different categories. Additionally, he successfully compiled a timetable within the ball space, upgrading it to "The Light of the Universe 1.2."

Su Hao's younger brother, Luo Chaoxin, turned into a mischievous child, appearing silly and foolish. However, his parents insisted that it was a sign of his intelligence. This silly yet intelligent demeanor gained recognition from people across the country.

Su Hao couldn't help but feel sorry for this foolish little boy. Growing up under the shadow of his superstar older brother, his life would be a nightmare. He would never be able to catch up to his brother's footsteps and would constantly be compared to him, only to be denied. It was truly pitiful.

In the same year, the adapted version of "Water Margin" was published. Su Hao became the most undisputed super genius of contemporary Hua country.

The topic of Su Hao remained evergreen.

Time passed as Su Hao continued to study and explore. A year later, Su Hao turned 15.

The ball space was no longer desolate; it was filled with a technological atmosphere, resembling the control room of a future spacecraft. Numerous floating screens displayed various data that flashed by. Above them was an electronic clock that had been ticking away since its inception.

The clock showed 1 year, 3 months, 20 days, 15 hours, 21 minutes, and 25 seconds. It indicated that the clock had been running for one year and three months, and the numbers continued to change, ticking away one second at a time.

The main screen was not categorized by subjects but displayed a log-like interface. Su Hao could view recent information from the log.

"On the 19th day of the third month of the first year:

'The Light of the Universe 1.3' update completed, optimizing the search system with a 0.01% speed increase;

'Sensing Technology' has been included, learning schedule arranged, current progress at 0.1%;

Doctoral thesis 'Applications and Future Development Trends of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence in Practice' has been formatted and can be downloaded for publication;

Invitation from Professor Gao for 'Research on Quantum Communication Device Design' has expired and will be automatically deleted in three days.

Room comparison: Computer mainframe position deviated by 1 millimeter, trash can position deviated by 3 centimeters, water bottle cap rotated counterclockwise by 3 degrees... Conclusion: Luo Chaoxin entered the room, bumped into the mainframe, touched the trash can, and opened the water bottle cap.

...

Su Hao smiled, saying, "Not bad!"

He then picked up a broom and walked out of the room, saying, "Luo Chaoxin is in need of another beating."
