Join me in the quest to find out**…!!** ————————————————————— English is my second language, and this is my first time writing anything longer than an essay, so bear with me. (I will be using Grammarly to try and minimize mistakes.) This novel won’t have any harems or sensual scenes other than hugs and kisses since I’m 100% sure they will be badly written, but expect a bit of romance here and there. Currency in the novel is US dollars since it’s the most well-known and easiest to understand. Updates will be once a week with however many chapters I have stockpiled. The cover photo is of the Dancing Dragon Towers designed by Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill Architecture. The rights go to them; I am using the image because I like it. It’s the closest building to the MC’s headquarters.

Chapter 1 - Prologue: A system created

In a vast expanse, bathed in a mesmerizing glow of purplish-golden light, an imposing temple stood tall. Towering columns, modeled after ancient Roman architecture, stretched endlessly into the void, their surfaces reflecting the ethereal radiance that enveloped the realm. At the heart of this monumental structure, a throne crafted from a shimmering crystal sat upon a pedestal of luminous stone, casting an eerie glow that rippled across the surroundings.

Seated upon this throne was an entity of unimaginable power, its form obscured by a swirling haze that defied comprehension. Its presence radiated an overwhelming force, as though it bent the very fabric of reality itself, leaving everything else in its shadow.

Before this enigmatic figure knelt several beings of immense energy, their auras pulsating with raw power. Despite their might, they appeared insignificant before the figure on the throne, like mere whispers caught in an endless storm. These were the devoted servants of an ancient and long-dormant deity—a god who had just awakened from a slumber that had lasted for three million years.

The god's voice reverberated through the expanse, deep, resonant, and commanding. "How long have I slept?" it asked, its tone brimming with authority. "And what have the others done in my absence?"

The leading servant, enveloped in a soft, silver glow, bowed low before responding. "My lord, you have been asleep for three million years. The other gods have also slumbered during this time. Some of them, however, found amusement by creating systems—tools bound to mortals, designed to guide, test, and entertain them."

The god's eyes flickered with intrigue at the mention of these systems. "Systems?" it mused. "Tools for mortals? That is curious indeed."

The figure paused, contemplating this new concept slowly but purposefully. Then, a new determination surged within it. "If these other gods have found amusement in their systems, then I too shall create one—but not just any system. I will craft one of my own design—powerful, ever-changing, eternal, and a testament to my own greatness."

With a majestic, deliberate motion, the god raised its hand. From the very fabric of reality, a core of radiant light appeared, hovering before it like a beacon. The core pulsed with energy, shimmering as though imbued with the essence of the god itself.

"This system will not rely on fear or punishment," the god declared, its voice growing firm with determination. "It will adapt to the user, challenging them to grow stronger and overcome their limitations. Failure shall not be a dead end; instead, it shall serve as a stepping stone towards greater success. With every challenge, the user will ascend; with every victory, they will reach new heights."

The god then turned its focus to a new creation—a spirit destined to guide the user through this journey. "You," it commanded softly yet forcefully, "shall serve as their guide. Lead them not by harshness but encouragement and challenge. Push them to their limits and beyond. Help them discover their potential, but never let them falter. Your loyalty must be to their success."

The spirit stirred within the glowing core, its purpose now set. Unlike the systems created by other gods, this one would not depend on domination or fear. It would forge greatness through perseverance, ambition, and willpower.

With a final, decisive gesture, the god cast the system into the void, sending it hurtling across dimensions at a speed that defied thought. The system journeyed faster than time itself, searching for the world it was destined to shape. It found one—a world not bound by magic or divine intervention, where only the strength of the will and the ambition of its people determined their fate.

The system descended, its mission clear: to find the one it was meant for—the individual whose heart and mind would embrace its challenges and rise to power. The one who would create an empire capable of exceeding all others—an empire that would be worthy of its creator's attention.

And so, the Empire System began its journey, subtly weaving its influence into the fabric of a world about to be reshaped. It would change the life of the one it chose, and in turn, the fate of the world they would build.
