Chapter 330 - Chapter 330: The Glyph

Arthur would try to have his salt raise up once more, as well as having the salt extend from what was once the ocean to come in both sides, trying to chase Zazel up to the ceiling. The demon would slide through such walls, a sigil prepared and fired directly onto the monsoon, a punt gun quickly mounting into the wall, carving a massive chasm with a single shot, having it be dismantled and remade with Sabnock immediately in order to set up another shot, repeating such a process to make a wide enough path to take and evade. Arthur would grunt as he'd saw the weapon, assuming such was used to attack him when he was off of his guard. He'd try to pull himself up with the Salt and strike into the walls themselves, letting it seep into any cracks or crevices nearby and trail the glyph. He'd knock on the walls to see how hollow some are after such devastation in order to let it sink in easier. "If the brat is fused into the wall and is gonna stay there, Attacking him from behind such walls would be a death sentence. This is Check, Hellspawn..." He'd think to himself, anticipating two paths: Escaping from the wall, or tanking the salt that is going to breach out and dissolve such lines.

BANG!!! BANG!! BANG!!!

A few more shots to split the salt invading Zazel's area. He can tell from the man's expression that something was amiss. As he'd try to see if he can escape the wall, he'd set up a Sigil within the lines itself, catching the Hunter off guard with the set-up, his vision snuffed out once more with Shax. As the Demon escaped, he'd see visible cracks being made on the walls, having him recall Eligos into his skin to prevent it from being murdered, whilst taking the punt gun to fire in the cracks, the impact and recoil from the gun used to give him further distance away, launching himself straight into the Hunter's stomach, making himself a living bullet to headbutt him. As he'd hit, he'd allow Eligos to break off, letting it creep out as armor in order to capture Arthur and keep him still, whilst he'd set up another summon for the robotic demon, Sabnock. He'd have it take aim with his cannon and fire him point blank.

KA-BOOM!!!!

Arthur's body was flung across the area, Eligos quickly timing itself as he'd be scraped across the floor, letting the markings get off and leave him bleeding on the ground. The Hunter would be quick on recalling his salt to heal his body, whilst also using some to make some distance away from the Demon, prompting Zazel to weaponize the cannon with two more sigils, Aym and Seir, having the barrel weaponize both sides of fortune to pierce through the thick sea of minerals, with misfortune averting the salt, barely having them miss the target, while Seir acts precise to hit Arthur directly. The little Demon smiled, thinking to himself that such was going to be enough, yet his hopes were dashed the second that Arthur regained his sight and rushed forward, his hands up, having him try to catch the rocket coming at him. He'd follow along in its path, slightly curving the explosive, maneuvering it, letting it shift direction back to sender, using the salt to make a curved bowl to move it easier, while also scraping off the two sigils that was making it more problematic to handle. In response, Zazel would back himself with Sabnock, having a large enough distance so that, once it comes back, he'd have it fire another shot to explode the first and prevent himself from blowing up.

KA-BOOM!!!

The momentum and force that pushed Zazel away from such an explosion would have him set up Eligos again, channeling his other style mid-flight. "ARMOR MAGIC! GOETIA!!" He'd scream, letting the markings invade his body and warp his physiology into a glyph once more, planting himself onto the marble and trailing across its reaches, speeding closer and closer to create another Sigil of Sabnock, rigging more explosives to detonate around Arthur, trying to cause as much damage as possible, trying to make his healing useless. The Hunter can't help but laugh as he'd see the desperation, his salt shifting to tendrils.

"IN THE WALLS AGAIN, HERETIC!?! WHAT A FOOL!!!" He'd yell, as he'd have his salt retort, thrashing violently in the halls, smacking away any explosives out of the halls and having them explode outside of the chapel, letting them all scatter and spread such minerals, making the entire area head to toe in salt, clouds of it looming around him. "WELL!? C'MON!! LET ME SEE YOU ATTEMPT THAT BLASPHEMY AGAIN!! LET ME SEE YOU TRY TO SNAKE ANOTHER HIT IN ME!! C'MON-"

BANG!!

Straight through his chest, directly through his heart. Zazel would be visible within the storm of salt, his arms burning alive as he'd wield an M200 Intervention, complete with an iron sight scope to see through the makeshift snow of salt. He'd watch as the Hunter would stumble and fall over onto his knees, reloading the gun and taking aim for his head next. "There's the other hit, genius. Hold still for me..." He'd whisper, using the Hunter's own words against him, before pulling the trigger. As he did, watching the bullet fly, he'd stop himself when he saw Arthur look up, a quick glance to see where the bullet was coming from, and how he was able to accomplish it.

BANG!!!

A direct hit, yet Zazel grit his teeth as he saw through the scope again. He was anticipating the second shot. While his body flung back from the force of the bullet, the Demon can see him catching the bullet with his mouth. "Tch.." He'd recall his gun back into the sigil and retreated his arms into the walls, letting them relax after having to sustain the injury of the salt scattering around. He can't go back outside to finish the job. The entire area is a death trap for him. Arthur knew this, and would have the wall Zazel was in begin to crack. Something was breaching out again.
