Kasumi Grunts.
Kasumi: "Why would you do this Kiri!?"
Kiri: "You are of no use to us anymore... I loathed you since I met you and it hasn't changed."
Kasumi grunts more as the camera zooms out to see him on the ground with his left arm missing...
Kasumi coughs blood.
Kiri: "Looks like you don't have long to live..."
Kasumi: "Bastard... When we cross paths again I will kill you... This immortal hatred is mine and mine alone..." as he coughs blood looking at Kiri with eyes filled with hatred... startling Kiri into slicing his throat with his sword.
Kiri: "I must admit, that brat looked horrifying... cross paths huh..."
4 years later...
Kasumi: "I-I'm alive!?" he said confused as he stand up and looks his surroundings. - Kasumi
Kasumi: "Familiar lands... if I did really die then this is not another world, I'm glad... I still have to much I have to do still, wait... If it is like I think it is then..." He runs to the lake looking at its reflection with a shocked grin forming on his face.
Kasumi: "I look different, Thiiiiis is going to be hard to explain to my family."
Bush rattles.
Kasumi: "Who is there!?"
Kasumi creates a flame but its bigger than he expected.
Kasumi: "Woah!.. am I stronger by chance? That can wait... There is something ahead...
Rustling gets louder.
a girl appears with long black hair messed up from digging trough the forest and blue eyes and has a butterfly hairpin.
Kasumi takes a defensive crouching and having his arms on both his sheathed swords while he is incased in fire.
Kasumi: "Who are you!?" he answers in a deep tone due to the heat tweaking his voice.
The girl is frightened and filled with concern looking at Kasumi.
????: "Sir! Your on fire!" She said with a trembling voice.
Kasumi: "That's irrelevant for the moment... Who are you!?" He said with a Angry face.
????: "Alright Alright!... I'm Amelia, Amelia FeatherStone! Please I don't want any trouble." She said with a Trembling and Fearful voice.
Kasumi: "Nice to meet you... sorry I had to take precautions because of unfamiliar territory." He Let's go of his swords hilts and the fire slowly dissipates.
Amelia collapses to the ground and breathes heavily from the pressure... She felt like she was talking to a dragon.
Kasumi: "You okay?" He asks curiously
Amelia: "Y-Yeah... just a bit shocked is all..." She said with a slurred and trembled voice.
Kasumi: "This might be a sudden request but will you stay the night with me, considering its getting dark and the forces at night are to be reckoned with... Not to mention your in shock." He said with a serious face.
Amelia nods in agreement blushing slightly.
They both walk down a path leading into the forest and get to know each other better.
Amelia: "I dint know you were such a charmer..." She said while smiling
Kasumi blushes with a smile forming after she said that but instantly his mood goes sour...
Amelia: "I heard earlier that you aren't from here... what brings you here if I may be so blunt to ask..." She asks with a curious look.
Kasumi: "Betrayal... that's all I can tell you." He said with a sour tone.
Amelia looks at him with sympathy.
Amelia: "Sorry for asking..." She looks at him disheartened
Kasumi: "It's okay... I needed to get that out of my system." he said forcing a smile on his face.
I want to tell her I reincarnated but I should rather keep that to myself I can reveal this to her though...
Kasumi: "I do have something to tell you though..."
Amelia "What is it..." She looks at him curious.
Kasumi: "I was a prisoner of war... the things I've endured will set fear into the strongest willed men and I have scars to prove it." He said with a straight and honest face.
Kasumi turns around and lifts his shirt revealing that his got scars that he might have had since he was 8 years old.
Amelia looks at it in horror because some of the scars look like it would have killed him if it wasn't instantly and correctly treated.
Amelia "How are you still alive!?" She said with a louder tone and concern seeping from her words.
Kasumi "What do you mean?" He looks at her oblivious...
Amelia: "Your scars..." she pauses...
Kasumi: "I know... they are ugly..." He has the look on his face predicting the outcome he is use to for all these years.
Amelia: "No... they aren't at all... I find them kind of hot, but besides that they could have killed you!" She said pouting.
- Kasumi oblivious to a person saying something new he answered.
Kasumi: "To me they are just reminders of the stuff we went through..." After saying this he realizes she likes them and he starts to turn red and his hair slowly starts turning light green.
Amelia: "Your hair... its so green..." She said curiously.
Kasumi: "Yeah... my hair changes color when I'm that particular mood." He said holding back his shame and embarrassment.
Kasumi: "It's been happening a lot recently..." He said with concern.
Amelia: "I agree... but, we need to find shelter."
Kasumi: "Yes and the place is dead ahead..."
Amelia looks ahead and sees only a mountain range.
Amelia: "I don't see anything..."
Kasumi: "That's the whole point isn't it? To hide from bandits, thugs, monsters and mostly the kingdom." He looks around for any signs of danger.
Amelia: "Why the kingdom?" She looks at him curiously again.
Kasumi: "We need to know each other better first before I tell you that." He looks Amelia with determination.
Amelia: "Are you some kind of war criminal? or a pervert?" She looks at him with a curious look wanting to see what he does.
Kasumi: "Neither... and that second one is absurd..." He looks in front of him taking no interest in her words.
Amelia takes offence to this and she pouts and follows him to a cave.
Kasumi: "Let's go..."
Amelia: "Uhm... there's a wal-..." Loud thud as Kasumi walks through the damn wall.
Kasumi: "Come inside... It's cozy..." he said with a smile from his voice tone.
Amelia walks inside as Kasumi seals the wall off with earth magic.
Amelia: "No incantation!?" Confused.
Kasumi: "I was in the hero's par..." he hurryingly puts his hands on his mouth.
Amelia: "What!?" she slowly turns to him with diamond eyes and a massive grin.
Kasumi: "I'm going to bed goodnight..." Fades into embers.
Amelia: "Hey! Wake up! Grrr! Okay fine... good night I guess. She sighs mid sentence.
