Bella Scott didn't understand why, and Cecelia whispered, "Aren't you going to see him off?"
"What's there to send off?" Bella Scott remained unmoved, but Cecelia pulled her to Edward Anderson's side.
Probably only Bella herself was too busy eating and didn't notice that Edward had something to say to her, right?
In the end, Bella reluctantly followed Edward out of the living room, whispering, "Cecelia wanted me to see you off. I'm usually not that diligent."
Edward didn't say anything and just walked forward on his own.
Bella looked at his reaction and got angry, like a block of wood, completely not understanding how to please a woman.
Or maybe it's because she's just his ex, and he doesn't even want to bother pretending.
Cecelia actually made her send off Edward, wasn't this self-inflicted humiliation?
After mentally complaining about Cecelia, she still "dutifully" escorted Edward to the garage.
"Take care! I'm not sending you off!" She said and wanted to leave.
