Kallie chuckled softly, "It's always so interesting to deal with you, sis. I'm genuinely surprised that you're the type to chase after men. I've always thought of you as a queen, with men crawling at your feet. How did you end up pursuing men and fall so low?"
Bella Scott responded indifferently, "What's that idiom? Oh right, it's a counterstrike."
At this, Kallie burst into laughter, "Edward Anderson and I are on a date right now. If I can, I'll take him to bed tonight. What do you think, sis?"
Without waiting for Bella to say another word, Kallie hung up the phone.
Bella stared at her phone screen for a long time, hesitating whether or not to call back.
However, it was undeniable that Kallie and Edward were together at the moment, or else she wouldn't have picked up his call.
He's an adult, capable of handling his own matters. He's not hers anyway, so why should she meddle in his affairs?
With that thought, she stopped worrying about Edward and focused on her work instead.
