Bella Scott spoke earnestly: "Besides, who says that being in love means we have to be together to be happy?"
After she and Edward Anderson separated, they both lived well. Wasn't that great?
"Fine, forget I asked. Since you're awake, go back to bed and sleep. You'll catch a cold here." Linda Stuart stopped asking.
"Mom, you should go to rest early too." Bella said and went back to bed.
Linda looked at the two kids and then at the grown-up. Only then did she turn off the light and leave.
It wasn't long before Bella fell asleep again this time.
It seemed like her dreams took her back to the happy times of her childhood, with the small house, her mother, and Edward Anderson.
Edward spoke to her, "Little Bella, when you grow up, I'll marry you..."
After the dream, the sky had already brightened.
Edward's gentle voice still seemed to linger in her ear, the warmth lingering.
"I heard you talking in your sleep." Cecelia Anderson's voice interrupted Bella's drifting thoughts.
