"What does it matter? You're getting married soon anyway." Charles White said sarcastically.
He could not see what was so great about Edward Anderson for Bella Scott to be so infatuated with him.
Suddenly having an issue with Edward was because no matter who Bella married, Edward would always be the one in her heart, and there would be no room for anyone else.
Of course, this feeling was jealousy.
But it was laughable that he had long been ruled out and didn't even have the right to be jealous.
However, when he saw Bella's eyes and heart full of Edward, he would still feel bitter.
"You're not marrying Edward Anderson." Charles added maliciously.
But Bella wasn't deterred by Charles's words, she softly said, "So what? As long as he's okay, that's enough."
It's true that she didn't wait for him forever and for whatever reason, they could never be together. But that didn't stop her from loving this place, or from wishing that Edward could be happy for the rest of his life.
