Why did he and Edward Anderson fall for her after all?
Sometimes Charles White couldn't figure it out himself.
By the time he realized his feelings, she had already married Edward Anderson, and it was all too late.
"Why do you always look at me like that?" Bella Scott was busy, sweating profusely.
It was okay in the living room, but the kitchen was still hot because the air conditioning couldn't get in. She remembered that Edward Anderson had specially ordered the installation of the air conditioner here.
"What kind of look is that?" Charles White asked leisurely, leaning against the kitchen door.
Bella Scott was trying to think of a better way to describe it: "A look of unrequited love?"
Her words earned her an annoyed kick from Charles White.
She laughed, thinking she deserved the kick.
Time in the small house was always so joyful, even if Bella Scott only had Charles White by her side.
