Edward Anderson watched her back, but did not follow her.
Bruno was puzzled, "A proposal should be sincere. Mr. Anderson should persevere and woo Miss Scott persistently, which might touch her heart."
"Bella is stubborn. If I follow her now, it will only make her more resentful. Forget it. The revolution has not yet succeeded. I'll try harder in the future, and I'll be able to marry Bella home eventually," said Edward Anderson.
Edward then ordered Bruno, "Clean up the mess outside later, and don't annoy Bella."
As Edward walked away, Bruce sighed, "Why can't he move on? There are so many good women in the world. Why must he pester Bella Scott?"
