Rosemary PoV
I picked up Anis after another half an hour of play. I worried she would overdo it like yesterday. There were little signs of fatigue creeping onto her face, and I wanted to make sure she got some rest before she became too overtired.
Anis blinked as she stared at me. She began to wimper.
I patted her little back gently, trying to soothe her. "It's just gonna be a little break, sweet pea," I murmured, cradling her close to my chest. "You've been such a busy bee!"
She let a goo, her eyes glancing at her cousins. My nephews were yawning. Osamu had already fallen asleep. Azami was in the process of napping, but looked like he wanted to avoid it. Seb was still building his tower.
As I made my way to the bedroom, I could feel her tiny body relax a bit against mine. I sat down in the rocking chair, carefully adjusting her in my arms before lifting my shirt for breastfeeding. Anis latched on eagerly, her soft whimpers fading into contented suckling.
