**Saffron PoV**
As I started to drift off to sleep, I felt a small head press against my chest. The warmth was comforting, and I opened my eyes slightly, squinting against the soft glow of the early mid-afternoon light filtering through the curtains.
There was Rose, smiling faintly at me. She had placed Anis on top of me, and the sight melted my heart.
Anis let out a chirp, her little body snuggling closer to me, her soft breath tickling my chest. Even a guy like me couldn't help but smile at such cuteness.
"Da!" she exclaimed, playfully slapping my chin with her tiny hand.
I let out a tired chuckle, the sound raspy from sleep. "Anis, I'm trying to sleep," I murmured, my voice thick with exhaustion.
Anis retreated her little hand, looking up at me with wide, innocent eyes before closing her own. She was precious, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of warmth flood through me.
