Aqua Rios was quick to react to my spell. I watched as she raised her arms, summoning water from the very air around us.
A shimmering barrier of liquid formed in front of her, glistening like a veil of crystal. "Aqua murus!" she called, and a solid wall of water erupted to shield her forces. As my flames collided with her shield, steam erupted, filling the air with the hiss of boiling water. The two forces clashed in a spectacular display of power, flames and water battling for dominance.
"Is that all you've got?" Aqua taunted, her voice steady and confident, despite the chaos. "I can withstand more than just fire, kitsune!"
The sight of her unwavering resolve only fueled my determination. I gritted my teeth, channeling more energy into my flames, forcing them to expand and grow hotter. "Kōen no honō!" I bellowed, unleashing a concentrated blast of fire intended to overwhelm her defenses. The flames roared forward, seeking to break through her barrier.
