Chapter 4 - Reviewing

In the hushed elegance of the Phoenix Mansion, a young boy stood before a tall window. His appearance echoed that of a younger version of a conqueror that has died a long time ago, with the same tousled hair and piercing eyes, but there was a certain weariness in his expression that hinted at the weight of experiences beyond his years.

His gaze fixed on the world beyond the glass, his thoughts drifted like leaves caught in a gentle breeze. The grandeur of the mansion's interior seemed almost distant as he navigated the maze of memories that had brought him to this point. The turmoil of his thoughts was reflected in the lines that etched his forehead and the contemplative furrow of his brows.

The young man's features were a canvas of mixed emotions, a complex mosaic of regret, introspection, and a touch of melancholy. The sunlight filtering through the window cast a soft glow on his face, accentuating the earnestness in his expression. His lips, who were usually quick to curve into a smile, were nowadays set in a pensive line.

With a deep sigh, his hand lifted, fingers that were with bandages and cuts gently tracing the cold glass of the window. The surface seemed to hold an answer he sought, a pathway to understanding the twists and turns of his past. His eyes, once full of curiosity and spark, now carried a weight beyond his age , as if they held a burden so heavy that he feels that anyone than him , his eyes no longer had the same happines and energy that he wore a few years ago.

The hate an emotion so destructive so damagin to one sould also didn´t appear in his eyes , but something worse. An endless amount of indiference and self blaming towards all the living beings except his family , and he blame himself for not being talented and strong enough , despite his family attempts to cheer him up he just couldn´t not after he sees himself as a dissapointment.

As he peered out, his thoughts wandered through the chapters of his life. He retraced his steps, revisiting the choices he had made and the moments that had shaped him. The mansion's ornate interior served as a backdrop to his contemplation, its elegance contrasting the complexity of his emotions.

The view beyond the window unfolded, a world that seemed both familiar and foreign at the same time. It was a world he had walked through, yet the distance between his current state and his childhoods dreams felt immeasurable. He questioned whether he had strayed too far from the path he and his family once envisioned.

The young man's hands tightened on the window sill, knuckles whitening with the force of his emotions. He grappled with a sense of nostalgia for the days when life seemed simpler, yet his journey had not been without purpose. Amidst the confusion, a flame like determination began to flicker, a quiet resolve to navigate the labyrinth of his emotions and ignite the fire he and his family believe that was sleeping and he need to make that fire awake and make that same flame burn within him.

In the Phoenix Mansion's embrace, he reviewed his life with the hope of finding a way to reconcile his past and present. The young man's introspection was a solitary moment, a personal time for him to stand by himself. As he stood by the window, the echo of his thoughts resonated with the mansion's intricate architecture, a reflection of his intricate soul, yearning for understanding and growth.

'It´s been 7 years already since i have arrived here'

' I remember when i meet my brothers , they are caring yet cold with anyone outside the family, though because of their jobs i can´t see them much'

'At first i didn´t understood anything but with the following days of my birth i am certain that i apparently transmigrated or got isekaided to High school Draconis x Deus'

'But i can´t rule out the possibiliti of being in an alternated Universe , i was paranoid in my last life and old habits die hard'

*Sigh*

'Though i have studied quite a bit and , in the words of my father and mother, i am a 'Prodigy' in all but that...'

Regis clenched his fist further until a line of blood is drippin from his hand.

'Why?...'

He remember how the doctor said that Raiser was born with a very powerfull amount of demonic energy.

He remembered that day because it was the day that he had a diagnosis that he had a very serious problem.

As apparently he couldn´t activate his clan traits , and he neither had a very powerfull demonic energy.

He was a low class...

From that day the stares begin , the eyes of every servant that judge him , that gaze that follows him wherever he go , what ever he do , the intention behind that stare that says that it will never be enough to compensate the fact that he is a failure and worst of all , he has heard them mock him by calling him a disgrace of a child , unworthy of such a name.

Fortunably his own family loves him though Raiser is becoming quite arrogant these days.

But he still cares for him , deep down that arrogance is his twin brother.

But now he can´t go out , as whenever he goes out be it devils or other families they all mock him.

His family has prohibited being outside , afraid that someone will attack him.

His brother Raiser is the Star of the Family , he is only the shadow , as very few people know him and they didn´t think he was the son of Lord Phoenix as his hair and eyes are Red.

He tried increasing his power by training more and more but he feels something is holding him , some shackles that lock his progress , the doctor realices that and said with a sad tone

"Sorry Kid but unless you figure a way out , you are destined to be like this "

To be like this.

Today is his and Raiser Birthday and we will see what fate awaits from him.
