Brian smiled. Of all the Faes gathered in the large room that was to hold the coronation, he was the only one who saw that the roles had reversed. Despite the daunting pressure exerted by the head guard, Brain still saw how he paid attention to the new Queen-to-be's every expression and whim. That, in itself made him smile. Maybe a little too much, even for the occasion at hand. But that earned Brian a nod of acknowledgement from Prince Simon.

Brain snickered at this because Prince Simon was as readable as an open book. Prince Simon was already seated, patiently … or maybe impatiently waiting for all of this to pass over so that he could have time with his woman! He couldn't wait to devour her whole every single day for thereon!
