Yi Lin had already exhausted all the crystal reserves in his Storage Space, and placed the remaining Perfect crystals in the cellar. To be precise, that cellar was being folded into the shape of a celestial body, using the Mage's bizarre "Collapsible Space" ability, and was underfoot.
In the urgency of the moment, everything happened in the blink of an eye, and Yi Lin did not wish to delay for even a second. There was no time to open the Teleportation Circle and retrieve crystals from the cellar to fuel the "Unstrained Law."
Fortunately, when Yi Lin activated the [Bloodthirsty Disaster] card, he rapidly allocated points into Agility Attributes until reaching the Lock Breaker threshold, after which all the remaining temporary attribute points were placed into Mental Attribute.
Although his Mental Attribute had not reached the second Mental Lock's limit, it was quite close.
