"Don't lie to me, Mr. Chester got hurt even though he is so formidable, how could you possibly be unscathed..." Ella Jackson stopped mid-sentence, suddenly feeling a chill down her spine.
A cold sensation surged up from the soles of her feet. How could this be? She was clearly wearing a thick jacket.
"Collins Aiden..." Ella had just come to her senses when she saw the man in front of her let go of her hand and stride toward the living room.
His handsome face clearly displayed his jealousy.
But what did she just say?
Ella slapped her forehead, quickly realizing, and hurriedly chased after him.
"Collins Aiden, listen to me, I didn't mean you are inferior to Chester; I'm just worried about you." Ella's petite body flung into Collins Aiden's embrace, wrapping her arms around him like a koala as she explained.
Collins Aiden, usually cold-hearted, would look at her with a childlike, sulky gaze over trivial matters, catching her off guard with his surprising remarks.
