"The porridge alone isn't nutritious enough." His voice was cool and indifferent, the look in his eyes toward her was ambiguous, making it difficult to distinguish between illusion and reality.
Upon suddenly seeing Aidan Lucas, Lily almost forgot that the two of them were still in a cold war.
She couldn't help but smile, and in the depths of her eyes, there was a hidden joy.
However, Aidan Lucas shattered that joy with just one sentence.
Lily lowered her head, her tone melancholic, "No need, I have enough with these."
His cold voice woke her to the reality of their circumstances.
"You might have enough, but my daughter hasn't. If the nutrition is lacking, it'll harm the child."
Aidan Lucas paid no mind to Lily's wishes and ordered several dishes to be brought in.
