As Asten hovers over the battlefield, Hedin couldn't help but smile upon seeing Asten on the battlefield. Asten said, "Now, everyone charge and don't hold anything back!" As everyone charged toward the undead forces, Asten shouted, "Now!"
Asten went to fight the Omnies, raising one hand toward the sky. A condensed magic sphere appeared on his finger as he charged, then released the charged sphere toward the Omnies. The attack was strong enough to destroy one of the Omnies, even after it had its magic shield.
Astrea said, "Now, spin magic vortex, roar!"
Anew said, "Now, enchantment magic, wings of liberation!" Her spell created wings from magic alphabets. Anew was able to take to the skies.
Anew said, "Astrea, do you want wings too?"
Astrea replied, "Yeah."
Anew said sadly, "Right now, I can give wings to only one person at a time."
Astrea said, "I have no choice. Now, summon holy relic, divine blade Ascalon, divine judgement, spiral abyss!" She held her blade toward the sky, and as the blade was imbued with spin magic, she brought it down, striking many enemies and killing the undead in a single blow.
Meanwhile, in the royal chamber, Malacor asked, "Why are you defending the royals? We both know how much you hate them, as much as I do. Yet what are your reasons for this betrayal?"
Malacor continued, "What else could it be? Wealth and power. What else could I need?"
Alysa replied, "I see. Now I have no reason to hold back anymore, since you don't have a reason to."
Alysa said, "Now, summon holy relic, Fenrir's claws!" The battle between claws and gauntlets began.
Malacor said, "I know how those gauntlets truly function."
As the battle truly began, the clash of captains was so intense that it even caused the room itself to shake. Meanwhile, outside, the battle was looking grim.
Hedin thought to himself, With the Grandmaster's help, we will win for sure, but the real question is, how much will that victory cost us?
