"Norris?" Rufus Swallow walked over. "Who is Norris?"
"Someone I've met recently."
Rufus narrowed his eyes and looked at her for a while. "The bar owner?"
"Yes." She twisted open her lipstick to apply makeup, answering indifferently, "You remember him, huh?"
Rufus fell silent for a moment.
Aria Lulu turned her head and looked at him with a smile. "You wouldn't forbid me from going, would you?"
"What if I said that was exactly my intention?"
"What right do you have to stop me?" She leaned back in her chair, looking up at him with a light smile, "Norris and I are just friends."
"Friends with benefits perhaps?"
"Don't put it so crudely. Whether it's physical or emotional cheating, neither sounds better than the other."
Rufus's eyes darkened slightly, his blue pupils deepening to sapphire. "What if I want you to stop seeing him for my sake?"
Aria paused briefly, then chuckled softly, "That's an interesting question. So, could you stop seeing Norris Moore for me?"
