The person in his arms lifted their head and glanced at him, their eyes shimmering.
However, the words that came out of their mouth were somewhat insufferable.
"So annoying, you follow me all the way to King Town!" Jane Sampson said, then tried to push James Black, but realizing he hadn't budged, she awkwardly leaned back against him.
James Black even felt a sense of how he had become accustomed to this.
He always had a way of making him want to scold her.
Letting go of Jane Sampson, James Black hurriedly washed his face, then kissed her on the lips and said, "I'm off, you go back to bed and rest for a while."
"I'll walk you to the doorway." Jane Sampson nodded but continued to cling to his hand without letting go.
