Always acting recklessly, she wondered what the servants thought of her as a mistress, would they consider her lust-blinded?
Purple hoped she was just overthinking it.
The food downstairs had been ready for a while, kept warm in the pot; Alexander Summers had it brought up directly, but Purple insisted on being fed by him.
It wasn't that Purple was being whimsical or intentionally mushy, she was just irritated and wanted to give Alexander a hard time.
Why should she be unable to get out of bed every time he returned?
Alexander fed her spoon by spoon, filling her hungry stomach, leaving her feeling warm inside and lazily content after eating her fill.
He fed her half a bowl of soup, then cuddled with her on the bed to rest.
Purple wanted to get up and take a bath, but Alexander wouldn't allow it, "You can't bathe just after eating, wait a while."
