Purple Summers was startled when she learned of the news.
"Didn't Violet Nelson have an alibi?"
Alexander Summers laughed, "Heaven is taking her! Her alibi has vanished!"
Purple Summers widened her eyes, "What about the surveillance footage? Did you tamper with it?"
"Do I look like that kind of person?" Alexander retorted.
Purple Summers silently regarded him.
...Was he not?
Understanding her gaze, Alexander lifted his hand to embrace her, tousling her hair, "Do you understand marital duty, hm?"
Struggling to lift her head, Purple Summers couldn't care less that Alexander had messed up her hair and asked, "What exactly happened? Why is her alibi gone?"
"A dead moth was stuck on the surveillance camera, no idea where it came from, but just so coincidentally, it stuck right on the camera," Alexander said with a laugh, "The very section of the area Violet walked by was conveniently blocked by the moth!"
